on Naruto? I only saw one episode because comparing it to the original first shippuden episode. took about so much footage and perverted jokes that makes Naruto...Naruto.

As far as Kai getting a network, awesome.

As far as the whole CN thing, the channel almost immediately went to hell as soon as Stuart Snyder became president of the company in 2007. Think about it: Toonami folding, Craig McCracken getting blacklisted, etc.

Eh. CN was terrible WAY before then. Putting Toonami on the weekends was the first real mistake. (There were some before this, but most people wouldn't agree with me on those.) Now its just Adult Swim Jr., you wait on it to go off so they can bring the REAL stuff on.

Oh, and all those live-action movies. I don't care HOW "cartoony" they were. The only live-action movie I want to see on CN is "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?".

yes I went all the way with that show. the fighting was meh and 1 out of 5 fights were good. of course the last fight with the fire lord was awesome. and a couple more. there was not "tons" of fighting.

I feel kinda bad for you. That last fight with the Fire Lord was fucking TERRIBLE. The villain shot fire and Aang ran like a pansy until he created his magic avatar ball. That's NOT fighting. Katara's battle against the Water master is fighting. Her match against Zuko at the end of season 1 is fighting.

....The dance Aang and Katara did at the "secret dance party" in season 3 is closer to fighting than what we saw in the finale. :laugh:

There's more fighting (and better fighting...based in actual martial arts instead of just speed lines) in one episode of Avatar than there are in 2-3 episodes of Naruto. (What with all the flashbacks.) And I LIKE Naruto. The manga, if not the anime.

I knew that Dragon Ball Kai was eventually coming to the States. Funimation just won't stop at their chance on making money off this franchise either. I will look forward to the English Dub though as I never took the time to watch the Japanese run of Kai. Hope the original cast dubs the voices as well.

I think dude gave up. CN has had trouble keeping up with Nick (so I've heard), and at this point they really don't know WTF they want so I think they gave up.


Edit: I also think they've abandoned anime wholesale. Other than 4Kids crap, do you ever see any on CN?
