Drag Queens, Runaway Trains, and Chaos: Stop! That! Train!

The concept of a drag queen disaster movie sounds wild and so much fun! I can totally see the over-the-top performances and the hilarious chaos that would ensue. It actually reminds me of the campiness of films like Death Becomes Her or even The Birdcage, where the humor is just as important as the visuals.

I love how both drag and action can feature such exaggerated characters and stakes. Imagine the train scenes involving high-energy lip-sync battles while dodging obstacles—talk about a unique combination! What kind of over-the-top stunts do you think they would incorporate? Maybe practical effects mixed with some fierce choreography?

The trailer already made me laugh with that RuPaul president part. I like how they mixed disaster movie stuff with drag energy. All those famous people showing up just for small jokes is funny too. It does not try to be serious at all and that is probably why it might be fun. I am not a big drag race fan but this one could be okay for a weekend watch. The train going into Los Angeles sounds wild. Hope the jokes keep coming the whole time.

I have seen every season of Drag Race and this film feels like all the acting challenges put together in one big project. Jujubee getting a real movie role makes me happy because she deserves good things after so many seasons. The way they put a luxury train and a huge storm together with drag queens is crazy but I think it can work. Adam Shankman knows how to do fun movies so I trust him here. Sarah Michelle Gellar fighting for a seat is the kind of small moment I want to see. This is not deep cinema but it looks like pure entertainment and I am here for it.

Everything is so serious these days and then comes a film where drag queens try to stop a runaway train from hitting Los Angeles. Ginger and Jujubee as the main girls look perfect together. I love all the cameos especially Lisa Rinna and Charo. The production looks colorful and the jokes seem fast. It is not trying to win any awards and that is fine. Sometimes you just want something dumb and happy. I will buy tickets on opening day.

Ginger really needs this movie after all the online hate she got when she won All Stars 10. People were so mean for no reason, saying she did not deserve it and everything. Now she gets to star in a big fun film with Jujubee and all these crazy cameos. It looks like a good chance for her to show she can do comedy and just have a good time. The train disaster story with drag queens sounds stupid but in a funny way. I hope this helps her feel better and fans see her in a new light. Good for her, she worked hard.

Honestly the premise alone sold me. Two underdog stewardesses saving a fancy train full of dramatic people during a huge storm? Yes please. Jujubee and Ginger Minj as the leads feel like a good choice because they have real chemistry from the show. The trailer moves fast and throws in so many silly situations. Adding all those big names in small roles is smart too. This movie might become a new favorite for lazy weekend watching.

The Stormaganza name alone is funny. Having Sarah Michelle Gellar just be a regular annoyed passenger is a great idea. The whole thing feels like it does not take itself seriously at all which is the best part. Cannot wait to see how crazy it gets.

Jujubee finally getting her big moment outside the werkroom makes my heart full. She never won Drag Race but now she gets to star in a whole disaster movie with Ginger. The trailer looks so stupid and fun. I love how they mixed real danger with pure drag nonsense. Brooke Lynn Hytes in first class being extra is going to be everything. This feels like a love letter to the franchise. Cannot wait to see it with my sisters.

Okay but the fact that they turned a Drag Race acting challenge into an actual movie is genius. Stop That Train looks chaotic in the best way. RuPaul playing the president is peak camp. The “tell it to me straight then gay” line had me screaming. Seeing all these queens together on screen is going to be emotional. Sarah Michelle Gellar just fighting for a window seat is hilarious too. This is what happens when drag takes over Hollywood.
