Dr. Who - Talk Up!

We have another old enemy returning for the third season, and it's a Time Lord...a member of The Doctor's own race

Evil Zoe takes on Dr Who

FOOTBALLERS’ Wives star Zoe Lucker is being lined up to play Doctor Who’s evil arch-enemy The Rani.

Show bosses are bringing back the terrible Time Lady, who was originally played by Kate O’Mara in the 1980s.

And sexy Zoe — superbitch Tanya Turner in racy ITV1 hit Footballers’ Wives — is a dead cert for the part.

An insider said: “The Rani was a classic character — pure evil. She’s ripe for a return and Zoe is perfect to play her. There are similarities between The Rani and bitchy Tanya.â€

The Rani is a time traveller like the Doctor but channels her energy into evil — a scientific genius who creates monsters.

TV sex symbol O’Mara — who turns 67 next Thursday — featured as The Rani in two special serials in the late ’80s and early ’90s.

She also played Joan Collins’s sister Caress in US drama Dynasty and was on our screens in Five soap Family Affairs last year.

The Rani is a pretty underrated villain, and I'm glad there still holding back from using The Master.

I'm not! I was SO hoping that when the sphere opened up at the end of ep 2.12, it'd be him in there...

It'd be kinda hard for him to come out of a Black Hole, unless the Master pulled an Omega on us.

Ahh! I remember the actress on Dynasty. Yes, I love that uber bitch Alexis Colby. Anyone else seen the new commercial with Joan Collins? LOVED it. Uber bitch galore!

At any rate, back on topic, any other info on what ep(s) she'll be back?

Wow!
My Girlfriends, Mother's Boyfriend is into Doctor Who alot, and He got the DocWho 2005 series(2006 for US I believe) But they kept the companion into the next season. So is this new companion for the newest most recent series?

Heres what I know:
Doctor Who number 10(I think) = Big ears, short dark hair. Big Nose too.
Companion - Alex(name?) White, Blonde, has a phone made so she can talk to her mom via phone.
Doctor Who number 11(I guess) = ... I dunno what he looks like, but I think it's too soon, as I liked the number 10 guy.
Companion - Still Alex?

New Companion - Who is she for? number 12 or number 11 still? Cus I think 12 is the the last number of Doctors possible isn't it?

(Forgive me, I can't keep up with Doc Who. Don't have the channel for it)

Sorry, For some reason I wanted to say Alex Rose, so I assumed Alex was her first name

DAMN YOU AXEL ROSE! YOU MADE A MOCKERY OF ME!

The tenth (Eccleston) and eleventh (Tennant) Doctor both traveled with Rose; she left at the end of the second season, but the current doctor is staying on.

I was really bummed when Eccleston left, but Tennant is, if possible, even better. He was nothing short of amazing in the ep where he gets reunited with Sarah Jane and K9... TOTALLY channelled Tom Baker's version of The Doctor.
