Donald Glover wants to be Spider-Man

Well... 1. It makes mad amounts of money.... 2... there are always new kids that have not had a Spider-Man movie going experience. 3.... stopping at three movies is like stopping at three Spidey animated series and stopping there. Why would we want to stop enjoying a good thing?

Because for artistic purposes it looks good and keeps things cinematicly classy. If they reboot this soon after, people are forever gonna remember "Oh god remember when they made another Spider-Man series for no good reason other than for money?!" An entire generation has never seen the Superman films started the superhero genre, but we haven't seen a reboot since. Despite the 4th film!

And for the record, this dude Donald Glover is hilarious! Below is probably the 3 funniest minutes I've spent in a couple weeks! And even though I commend him for being a funny comedian in a era of thousands of not-so-funny ones, that still doesn't make him Peter Parker material. By any means!

For me, Spider-Man is now officially a legend... I don't mind reboots and more Spidey stories.

Seeing Donald's stand up... he seems cool... but not what I'm looking for in a Peter Parker.

I think the real issue with me seeing him as Spider-Man is not that he's black, but he doesn't really have the right body type.

Too bad DC isn't making a Static movie since Static is basically just a black version of Spider-Man.

But that dude Taylor Lautner, who was in those Twilight movies is proof that you can change your body type no matter what. Skinny to buff in a couple months!

But I agree with Keith, because this guys seems like he would make it a tongue-in-cheek version of Peter Parker. Like a goofball.

I'm actually fine with the reboot. I feel like Raimi did all he could and that some fresh and young blood is good for the franchise. Peter to me has always been best when he's in high school.

As for a Peter of a different race, I have NOOOO problem with this. It was done with Nick Fury and could be done with Peter, but no way Sony would take that kind of chance.

Ultimate Nick Fury is African American. Spider-Man is white.

I understand a want for more minority superheroes, but there are actual black superheroes that are perfectly fine to use. So Instead of changing races of iconic characters, give the actual black superheros a chance to shineAnd we have so many, Black Panther, Static, Steel, cyborg, and someone said they were trying to make a Luke cage movie. And even though some of these characters are not iconic making movies can make them that way. I'm not gonna lie and say that race isn't a factor, these characters were made a certain way and should stay that way. I would be just as mad if they made static white. Oh, and they definitely need to make a static movie, don't know why they haven't, and they need to cast me as static.

DC needs to do more with Static period. Like I said, he's basically their Spider-Man (in terms of character and stuff, not popularity).
