Does Super Sentai Need Another Rainbow Warrior?

But he managed to take down the leader of a criminal organization using nothing but the leader's own pateneted rocket hand! How is that not awesome :P

I know man, and David Hasselhoff co-wrote "Hooked On A Feeling" too, but he's still only immortalized by fanb0iz.

Miyauchi is really the most overrated actor in toku, not to say he's bad, but he's nowhere near as good as he's made out to be.

I think his only truly cool role is Hayakawa/Zubat, really. But it's not really his fault that Toei's overexposed him, but it's just predictable at this point that they're going to pull him out for any special they make.

But it's funny that Big One's taken on this legendary status only because of Gaoranger VS Super Sentai. A little like Red Falcon -- people just see that movie and think he's as stiff and deadly serious in the series, without seeing what a bit of an ass he could be in the first half of Liveman.

At any rate, I think Yutaka Hirose's cooler than Miyauchi. *points to sig*

I for one think Hiroshi Miyauchi is, along with Kenji Ooba, the coolest motherfucker to ever act in a Tokusatsu, but all other things aside, I've never understood why people think Big One is so awesomez0rz unless they were just pseudo-joking because of how all-around absurd he was, but I think they're serious.

Well, if you've actually seen Big One in action (beyond his appearance in Goranger vs. JAKQ or the Gaoranger thingy) it's pretty easy to see why he gets put on such a pedestal.

In the series, once he comes in, the rest of JAKQ pretty much become useless and just hang around to fill up space. And when the rest of your team sucks, it's hard not to look really cool by comparison.
