Definatley check Buffy & Angel out. Start from the very beginning and you will not be dissapointed.

No, you don't need to watch the Buffy movie but you still should anyways but it's nothing like the series. Nothing at all.

Angel gets his spin off after Season 3 of Buffy ends. So when u start Buffy Season 4 then also begin Angel Season 1 and watch the shows side by side because they have cameos that connect with the storylines where if you don't watch em side by side you might get lost sometimes, only sometimes though.

Dark Angel has nothing to do with Buffy or Angel.

So watch like this:

Buffy Movie
Buffy Season 1
Buffy Season 2
Buffy Season 3
Buffy Season 4 & Angel Season 1
Buffy Season 5 & Angel Season 2
Buffy Season 6 & Angel Season 3
Buffy Season 7 (end) & Angel Season 4
Angel Season 5 (end)

Then get into Firefly if you enjoy the villians from Angel Season 4 and Buffy season 7.

thanks for the info man

True dat. Angel has a much darker tone to it than Buffy ended up having in later seasons.

Was it just me or did Harmony look like she got implants in Season 5?.

Dark Angel is a entirely different show and only lasted liked 3 seasons....never seen it though.

Ya, there is no need to see that Buffy movie.....the actress who played in that movie as Buffy was a different actress. Many people stated that the movie wasn't that great or good. Nothing to do with the series on TV.

I liked BtVS more than Angel.

I have the dvd box sets of BtVS...season 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. I didn't get season 1 and 2...I wasn't too big on those first two seasons.

It's not you FK, she did get implants...they are big! lol I liked Cordy's more though, haha

Dark Angel lasted only two seasons.

The Buffy movie serves as a "loose" pilot for the series, which begins with the events of that film as having happened, but Buffy has moved on with her life, leaving Pyke and her last school behind. The tone is completly different. Events in between the movie and the series have been explored in Dark Horse titles (such as Buffy's Las Vegas tour, and her time in a mental institution)

The series is presently continuing in a new "eighth season" exclusive to comics, it's written by Joss Whendon and other writers, Whedon himself regards it as canon. Fairly good so far.
