Do you believe in 2012?

There seem to be a lot of disasters shortly after the beginning of new millennium and seem days can't get any worse. So are you superstitious or scientific on this? What do you think of the prophecy and what will happen on that day?

I've read some claims that the Mayans did predict some events after December 2012, their calendar does not "run out" at that time ...

Hell, if I didn't even believe the whole "Sometime in 2005 the world will end!" hype that was going around, for what reason should I believe this?
