Do you avoid watching bad seasons?

If you hear a season of power rangers, sentai, kamen rider, etc. is bad by a good number of people do you just ignore it? I've heard a lot of negative comments about the disney era of power rangers which is when I stopped watching but I gotta say I love Dino thunder, SPD, and jungle fury. To be honest the more awful a show sounds the more I wanna watch it just to see how bad it really is.

no for Super Sentai, yes for Kamen Rider, yes for Power Rangers. other genres would vary.

I don't see any negative comments for Kamen Rider but for Super Sentai in 2000s is like Disney all over again.

I watch them all, if only to form my opinions rather than leech off the ones thrown online, some to have been wrong. I'm ignoring the current ones now just to ignore opinion and have a fresh mind.

I watch them all as well, mostly because if I dropped the ones that don't like, I'll miss out on something big that could be a turning point.

I won't skip them until I watch a little for myself. Peoples opinions on shows can vary greatly. Afterall there are several people on here who despise Shinkenger and W and people that loved Go-Onger and Operation Overdrive.

I wouldn't skip a show just because some people don't like it. Everyone's tastes are different, so what one person sees as a total crap fest, another might see as brilliant. It's better to try a show and form your own opinion.

I try to try things even if they have a bad reputation. I've seen enough instances of awesome shows getting a bad reputation for what amounts to really shallow fan reasons.

Going into something with lowered expectations can also make for more pleasant surprises. Instead of concentrating on the things it's doing wrong I end up concentrating on the parts that aren't so bad.

Of course, if I watch it and I think it's crap, I'm going to stop watching.
