It will never happen at all because Sony USA has actually admit that they have stopped making new content for the PSP Series and have put more effort in the PS Vita right after when Sony Japan announced the PS Vita info for the first time

Why not a port? How is that so hard to do? many games for the GBA were done the same so what stops them?

Upgrade graphics by a little and take advantage of the new space and we got a winner. Easy.

They should either port it to the 3ds or just forget about it.

Exactly. Hell sony can hardly sell any vita's in the US right now let alone PSP's
