Den-O loosing Steam

It´s the Taros who made Den-O. Kids and teens who were fans of Bleach, Naruto, Weiß Kreuz (it´s not the newest, but still what made Miki Shinichiro - the most populair of them all - an classic) and many more Anime loved to discover their favourite Seiyuu in there. It´s how many Anime worked too. It´s often the Seiyuu who are making a Anime populair, their fanbase is HUGE! And it´s also the only reason why the CDs were selling so good. But after the show ended and every one went on to new Anime series, nobody cared about Den-O anymore, of course.

They could bring back the human cast even now and nobody would care anymore either. Don´t forget that they even brought Sato and Nakamura back and it changed nothing on the way downhill Den-O went in the cinemas.

Yet Decade still has a general level of popularity so far.........and the Taros didn't appear that much throughout Decade in terms of the tv series and movies in general.

Hmmm.......maybe because Decade has no story lol

Right now it's still fresh, despite being last year's. They could have Decade appear with future Riders and it won't get stale.

I meant the Den-O series and movies only. About Decade, well the Taros were there, but their fans had already new fodder and not all returned to watch their few scenes.

I don´t see much popularity on Decade´s site, only fans who expected a lot and turned in each episode and went into cinema just to find out that the things they wanted fell flat with ... well nothing. Added to that had Decade not much competition about the little fans, because nothing really good was running at the same time on TV. Beside One Piece and we see that Decade is losing as high as a house. :loltongue:

And Gackt makes sure that the CDs are selling. Well, yeah ...

If it wasn't for Decade's first movie, W wouldn't have this big following that it currently has since the premiere of its first episode. W might end up surpassing both, all thanx to Decade coincidentally

That...doesn't make any sense. Despite what you think, the Den-O movies have actually remained stable:

I'm Born - $9,551,440 (Box office rankings 4 > 7 > 7 > 10)
Climax Deka - $7,908,255 (Box office rankings 1 > 4 > 7 > 9 > 11 > 12)
Final Countdown - $13,374,901 (Box office rankings 2 > 2 > 5 > 5 > 9 > 13)
Chou Den-O - $9,510,661

I've even read that Den-O is what started the "Rider cinema boom", the trend of an insane amount of movies in a year. Annnnnd if anyone else is curious

[hide]Project G4 - $6,874,900
Episode Final - $10,112,538
Paradise Lost - $11,067,556
Missing Ace - $6,500,000
Seven War Demons - $7,167,000
God Speed Love - $5,834,000
Demon Castle's King - $7,972,682
All Rider VS Dai-Shocker - $22,818,091
Double/Decade - $8,769,953
THE FIRST - $2,500,900
THE NEXT - $626,682 [/hide]

The last Den-O movie didn´t had the awaited success, no matter how you look at it. And before it could get even more downhill, they stopped the plans to release more Den-O movies. But you can bet that nobody would have gone to the movie without the Seiyuu being in the movie.

Den-O is not loosing it´s steam, it´s out of steam since over a year.

How do you even come to this conclusion? Chou Den-O made a hairline less than the first movie (and at those numbers, I'm inclined to say it could have surpassed it) and surpassed Climax Deka. And what makes you say that Toei has stopped plans for Den-O? They've never actually said what the future of Chou Den-O is and I wouldn't be surprised if an announcement for a new movie isn't too far away.

I doubt that there is an announcement for a a new Den-O movie around the corner. It´s not even that important how much an movie grossed, when the fanbase is vanishing.
