[Comic] DCU Talk Up Thread!

So I'm a little confused on JL Dark Volume 2 and need an explanation as I think there is an issue missing in it. One issue ends with the gang being attacked by Vampires in London and they are trying to stop Cain, the next issue they are in Peru fighting Faust without any explanation on what happened or how Cain was even defeated.

Finally read the latest issue of New Guardians. Even though it was a good issue, Kyle being possessed by six of the entities somehow didn't seem as cool as when the seven Rings chose him

That issue should be in I, Vampire volume two.

So I have been told, which is total bullshit. It did not say anything anywhere in the book that I had to read I Vampire to get the rest of the story (nor do I plan on every wasting my time with I Vampire). Not to mention the book claims it has the annual in it but I see no indication of an annual at all.

Batman Beyond is going to be officially introduced into the New 52 in weekly series for next year called "Futures End".

Okay DC we need to talk. You are using this as your Free Comic Book Day entree. The day designed to get new readers including children to read your product. And you believe the best way is to show the flayed flesh of your biggest superheroes on robot bodies (I assume they are OMACs). This is why your industry is failing. You just make it so hard to stick up for you. I know you don't want to be seen as childish anymore but there is some middle ground before you hit dismembered American icons!

You know what I am just going to be sitting over there, could someone get when the next reboot happens. Maybe that one will be a little less depressing.

I'm really buying the idea that Kara and H'el fell were in love, or at least I don't much believe Kara's part, but other than that I'm really digging Supergirl.

I was on Red Hood and the Outlaws, BlueBeetle, Teen Titans, and Green Arrow; and that was max DC I was messing with at the time. I had a crumb of Superboy as well, just to broaden hoeizons. lol and that was because it was my first time reading the DC comics; but man I am on the ultimate DC high right now.

Just caught up with the current Birds of Prey, started Supergirl and PowerGirl at the same time and drifted towards Supergirl, because it was more captivating, but I do like PowergGirl more as a character, the maturity aspect at least; and I'm most certainly not referring to her tatas.

All caught up on Red Hood, with the art for is beautiful. I've never heard of Chesire until reading this, but I already want to really like her because her design is stunning and expressions help me sympathize with her, so the crazy killer ex routine works for her.

Currently catching up on Teen Titans, gotta get back to Green Arrow, might as well catch up on BlueBeetle and Superboy, and I'm going to check out BatWing, WonderWoman; who I'm rapidly and strangely seemingly destined to become a big fan of. It's funny, the best way I can describe it is that she's like that girl you though was 'eh', but never really attractive until that ONE day, Idk, she wore her hair down ooor she dresses well outside of school when normally you see her nerded out in uniform or something. There is something about the tiny design choice to turn her bling from gold to silver, that I absolutely love and bow down to.

Looking at the site now, now I want to read The Flash and I gotta check out some of these Lantern Corps. series, I read #1 of The Movement as well, not bad. Oh,and I should get back to JLA, BatWoman seems awesome I want to know what she's about, the Red hair and Bat just kills it. Color me intrigued.

My post is unintentionally at term paper length I'm sorry. This is a lot to take in. This is winter break as well so I'm kicking back these comics like candy. 24hr marathons. Maybe, I'll open the blinds to feel human, maybe not. It depends. Do you think their is a disease for reading too much comics/too much DC Comics?

Should I check out Aquaman?

IMO, Aquaman has been a consistently good book, not many can say that in the New 52, and has had plenty of great moments. I started reading it and Flash at the same time and I can easily say that I like Aquaman more.
