[DC - COMIC BOOKS] The "FINAL CRISIS" Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

So has anyone got the first issue of Final Crisis? I got it (along with TRINITY #1 and BATMAN #677 - BATMAN R.I.P.) the other day and read it. I thought it was pretty interesting.

Final Crisis #2 has come out, but my local bookstore don't have it yet. I'm still waiting.

So what do you guys think of those?

Final Crisis continues to disappoint me. Except for the ending, that is.

it started out as a mystery and after reading two issues, I'm wondering what the hell is going on.

since i could care less about marvel i don't think i'll pick up secret invasion other than read about it on wikipedia.

but they are taking big risks with what's happening in final crisis

As complicated as it is...and it IS complicated, Secret Invasion's drawn me in much more than FC so far.

maybe, i've read the synopsis so far on wikipedia and it does sound very exciting

but nonetheless, I'm a DC guy, i'll take green lantern over nova, Superman over sentry/captain america and batman over iron man any day

I think DC needs to stop making it's teen heroes so fucking emo. I really can't take Robin and Wonder Girl bitching about how Connor's death turned them all dark-n-****. Listening to the Teen Titans these days is like Watching Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. I don't like any of these kids

I'll give it the benefit of the doubt since Grant Morrison is doing it (and the events are only just starting to come together), but these first two issues weren't really much to gloat about. I'll keep reading anyway though.

It really feels like there treading on old ground. They have the strongest line-up they've had since the legendary Wolfman line-up, but the writing doesnt do them justice
