Crossovers in comic books can feel like a double-edged sword sometimes. You get these epic events merging beloved characters and universes, but they can also end up feeling convoluted or forced. Still, some of them are pure magic. I want to know which crossover events had the biggest impact on you, whether stylistically, in terms of character development, or just sheer entertainment value.
For me, "Crisis on Infinite Earths" is a standout. It laid the groundwork for the multiverse concept in DC Comics and gave us some truly unforgettable moments, like the death of Barry Allen. But I'm also a huge fan of Marvel's "Secret Wars," which, while a little silly in premise, introduced so many classic characters and concepts. It was like a playground for fans.
What are your top crossover events? Did they change how you see a character or a whole universe? Are there any that you think are overrated? Let's hear your thoughts!
