I know absolutely nothing about these Tetsujin series. Which incarnation # is17? Anyone got any info on the series and what I can expect and where I can find episode titles?.

I must say I'm really enjoying this series so far, anyone who enjoys classic Sentai Mecha style battles will love it.

So I guess this is the origin of Spider-Man's Leopardon and Battle Fever J's Battle Fever Robo & the future of Sentai mecha.

The young boy who controlls 17 (One Seven, not Seventeen lol) looks extremely familiar, I think he was the youngster from Jinzo Ningen Kikaider.

I've been reading about other Tetsujin series, like 28 and stuff. Anyone know the order of which all of these Tetsujin series' aired?.

There's an unrelated anime called Tetsujin 28-go that predates Daitetsujin-17. Daitetsujin-17 didn't have a follow-up, either. While a tokusatsu called Uchuu Tetsujin Kyodain aired right before 17, there was no relation to it, either.

Nope, it's the Toku series that paved the way for how Mecha battles are.

The 17 vs. 18 arc was cool but then got fucking confusing as hell. One episode 18 is evil, next episode 18 is cheering the good guys, next episode 18 back to battling 17, next episode 18 is completely gone.

Overall this was an enjoyable series especially if you love the Sentai style Mecha battles. I thought it was cool 17 sacraficed himself in the end to destroy Brain, very cool.
