[GAME] Cyber Troopers VIRTUAL ON: The Virtual Miracle

"Am I allowed to do that, Doc?" Jerry called out, sending the lift closer to Ray's face. "I don't want this guy getting the wrong idea and killing me on the spot here..."

"Shut up and do it, newbie!"

Hearing his superior yell at him, Jeremie had no choice but to do it. "Hey, don't be mad, okay? But it's so we can at least understand ya." On the lift's computer monitor, he started to type and click on a few things. The CRX-01 "Ray" model is supposed to be the first of its kind, and probably would make its first public debut at the Cyber Trooper Circuit tomorrow.

'Man, if this guy's an offshoot of the Ten-Eighty, then...' He looked at Ray's specs on the monitor one last time. It showed little resemblance to the original Temjin. '...Would this make Temjin a second cousin to him?' "Overriding voice modulator." A few more clicks, and he was into Ray's system. "Installing English Pack 3.6.7.2. Extracting...and done." The lift pushed back away from Ray's face, then toward the space between it and Temjin. "Alright, yer set, buddeh. How ya feelin'? Can you understand us?"

Sazaki sits down in the room next to Anubis, pondering. After a short bit, an idea comes to him and he hits his palm into his fist in reaction.

Anubis: I know that gesture, Taro. What did you just come up with?

Sazaki: Well, I remembered that Dr. Clarence, the creator of the Temjin model has a hangar around here. Perhaps we could go over and ask for a friendly match. Plus, I'd honestly love an opportunity to show you off!

Upon hearing this, Anubis' visor turns a muted red.

Anubis: Oh, c-come on Taro! I'm nothing special. You shouldn't be putting yourself out there for my sake!

Sazaki: Come on, Nubie, it'll be fun. Please?

Anubis: I-I.....Oh, you know I can't say no to you.

Sazaki: [flashes a smile] I know; that's what makes it so fun.

The two exit the room into a large garage area where a lone hatchback sits inside.

Sazaki: 'K Nubie, I'm going to have to shut you down for a bit while we drive over.

Anubis: Alright, just make sure you don't drop my connector again.

Sazaki: It was ONE time!

He deactivates her V-Connector, fragmenting Anubis' body down to the semi large core unit. Sazaki then picks it up and places it in the back seat of his car. He then gets into the driver seat and stars the engine.

Sazaki: Don't worry Anubis, it'll go just fine.

He then drives out, arriving at the hangar a short time later. He parks, takes out the V-Connector and begins walking towards the door.

Ray turned to Jerry, staring intently at him. He spoke again, but this time it just came out as a load of incomprehensible gibberish. The nonsense quickly degraded into electronic noise as Ray's eyes dimmed and then returned to their normal brightness.

"Oh, hello. How are you? Pleased to of being in glorious mother country?"

"Well, there we go, Jer. You taught it to talk." Clarence said, mildly chastising the mechanic. "Maybe now you can teach it to walk." Now, full blown chastising. He tossed his clipboard at the mechanic, noting the routine check up list that detailed how to go about the maintenance order. "I want him scanned and tagged into the system."

All new DNA VRs needed to be "tagged," a process of formally adding them to the catalog of Virtuaroids. This was an available list for the manufacturer to have the necessary specifications to reproduce RNA model VRs. Of course, this list was only reserved for Clarence's organization, since his group ordered the Ray unit for tagging.

Jerry REALLY wanted to throw something at Dr. Clarence, but he held in his inner rage and merely smiled. At the same time, he was flipping off the doctor, his eyebrow obviously twitching. Some of the other workers began to chuckle as the lift slowly descended, the blonde typing into the computer data from the clipboard tossed to him.

On the screen were a list of Virtuaroids in the system. The MBV-707-G Temjin, the RVR-42 Cypher, the HBV-505 Raiden, and including the SGV-417-L Angelan were listed down. The Fei-Yen, Apharmd, and so on were also listed down. Typing in the code, "CRX-01", onto the screen, the word "RAY" and the Virtuaroid's model blinked and was added to the list. "Alright, y'all set, mate!" Then Jeremie hopped off his lift. "Someone tell ma I'm goin' on my break! If ya need me, I'll be outside!"

"I never said he could go on break." grumbled Clarence as he perused the finalized data for the newly tagged Ray unit. The unit's functionality really did resemble Temjin's. "Cheh, another one. Anyway, Ray you're on standby until we finalize the programming maintenance to see if you're up to snuff. Afterwards you may shut down when we give you the go."

Clarence sighed heavily and began to stride away back to Temjin. So much work for adding new VRs to their system. Clarence swore if another were to appear up tonight, he'd have to freak and torture Temjin some more to make himself feel better. Maybe if he installed Justin Beiber songs, that would really mess Temjin up. The scientist had to laugh at his maniacal idea, it made him feel a little better.

Sazaki: Hello? Dr. Clarence? Are you here?

Taro walks into the hangar holding Anubis' V-Connector, astounded by the size of the building.

Sazaki: Wow! It's so huge in here! Why don't we have this?

He then places the V-Connector on the floor and inserts Anubis' build disk into the back.
The Drive closes and Anubis' form is built. She then stretches her arms out and yawns.

Anubis: Ahhh. That was a nice nap. *takes a furtive glance around* Where are we Taro?

Sazaki: The lab of Eli Clarence himself. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have ever been able to create you. Oh look, there's a couple of VRs here. Ooh! One of them's human based!

He runs off with an inquisitive look on his face.

Anubis: Ohhhh. He just doesn't know how to contain himself. Hopefully, they're nice people.

Sazaki: Oi! Dr. Clarence! Are you there?

Clarence popped a quizzical eyebrow when an unfamiliar voice called out for him. Turning around, he saw an unfamiliar face and... another new VR. Resisting the urge to run to the nearest living thing to kill it, but opted for a better method.

"JER, GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!!!" He roared, hoping the kid would hear him. "WE GOT ANOTHER ONE!!!" Clarence faked a cough to buy time for regaining composure. When calmed down a little, he returned his attention to the newcomers. "Yes, I'm Eli Clarence, I see you have a new... VR with you as well."

God did Clarence need a smoke more than ever.
