Name: Jeremie "Jerry" Triggs
Age: 24
Appearance: Hard work always comes with dirty hands!
Occupation: Virtuaroid Mechanic
Bio: Young Jerry Triggs was never really a mechanic at first. In fact, he's still wet behind the ears. Back when he was a high school and college student, all he would do is party, hit up the night lights with various girls, and drink until he was completely wasted. He was your typical teen, the normal wild child, and the rebellious youngster he was. So what made him give up his love for beer, bong, and boobs and have him take up the wrench?

When he was college, Jerry left his home after a shout-out with his old man, leaving him and his mother and little sister behind. His father considered him dead to the family, and Jerry went from home to home for the rest of his college years. He worked for his funding because no one (except his mother in secret) would support him. But despite being that party animal that he was, Jerry made sure to maintain his grades so that he could be successful in the future, successful like his parents who specialized in Virtuaroid Development and research.

Before his last semester, word had gone out that his father had fallen ill and left his role in the Virtuaroid universe. Not once since Jerry left had he seen his father, mother, or sister (though his mother kept in contact with him), and the later four years he started college, he matured into a fine man who realized that he was wrong about his stubborn opinions with his family. All this time, Jerry thought that the love for Virtuaroids didn't run in his blood, but he realized that he loved and lived for Virtuaroids as much as his mother and father did. He quit college and returned home to see his father one last time.

He spent his father's last days with him, the old man and son forgiving each other, and the old man giving his son the right to his lab and research as a Virtuaroid developer and researcher. But Jeremie turned that opportunity down, preferring to aide their mechanical friends his own way, as a mechanic dedicated to maintaining, tuning, and overseeing Virtuaroid development. His father died a happy man, and Jeremie returned to college to start over.

At the end of his third year, Jerry applied in his mother's labs as the mechanic he promised his father he would be. He oversaw the creation of the Angelan, designed by his younger sister, and made sure to name it accordingly, after Angel N. Triggs, his late father.

Name: Dr. Eli Clarence
Age:41
Appearance:
[hide] 5a32df2fc90fbc6dab9a6e94e4921ef9f09ebfa7.avif[/hide]
Occupation: Virtuaroid Developer, Former Wartime surgeon.
Bio:
Eli Clarence was a man who was always fascinated in the the disassembly and reassembly of all things, aiming to fix and improve human life. As a child, he constantly smashed things apart and rebuilt them into new devices to make life easier. From the automated back-scratcher to the lost sock magnet, Clarence was always the one to think outside the box. Some saw him as eccentric, others saw him as genius, mostly everyone else thought he was loonier than cocoa puffs.

His steady hand first lent itself to the medical field, becoming a wartime surgeon to aid in stabilizing the wounded soldiers. Clarence grew tired of it, realizing that it was never ending and no matter how many bullets and shrapnel he removed and stitches he inserted. There was no improvement.

When he heard talk of a desperate attempt to make a new weapon to end the war, he jumped right on board. Clarence had to end this war, this would improve humanity. Stumbling upon the Temjin designs, Clarence made design tweaks to the system, realizing that the full blown rail-gun would be too cumbersome for the mech. When trying to finalize it, an error occurred that froze up the system. Out of frustration, Clarence slammed his fist on the keyboard, idiotically fixing it and stumbling up the discovery of reverse conversion.

In the miracle of stupidity and luck, Clarence created Temjin in his image of a mech aiming to improve the human race. The two shared the same vision and thus were inseparable. Clarence shifted his focus in Virtuaroid development, trying to recreate his success with Temjin. While unable to create a perfect copy, Clarence was able to nail down the process of creating Virtuaroids when he aided in the development of Raiden.

However, he stuck with Temjin, fascinated with the curious nature of the VR. For the passing years, Clarence worked to improve the VR while fulfilling the mech's unquenchable thirst for learning about humans.

Clarence, while known to be eccentric also seems to retain a college-sense of humor, mostly with childish pranks he throws into Temjin's system. The man has that kind of father-son relationship where the father would constantly bust the son's balls.

^_^; sorry sorry. Best I could think of was either a soldier or a mechanic.

But I didn't wanna use a Sagara Sosuke picture, so I went with Mechanic...

Fair enough. If anything, shame on me for not getting my act together sooner.

Virtuaroid: CRX-01 "Ray"
Appearance: Normal and Exceed modes
Weapons and Functions:
Right hand- Beam vulcan gun. Semi-automatic and automatic firing modes. Overcharge creates a three way spread shot but consumes power quickly. Ray's primary weapon.
Left hand- Bomb launcher. Deploys explosives that detonate after a short delay. Mostly used for distraction and diversion tactics.
Back weapon- Satellite. Deploys two remote drones that roam the battlefield, firing on the opponent. Powerful but slow moving. Currently considered a "contested weapon" by CTC officials.
Bio: Ray's life began, curiously enough, as a Ten-Eighty Special. Though a decent competitor in the CTC, he found his lack of advanced weaponry stood in his way of rising to the top of the rankings. He was eventually approached by a third party of Virtuaroid developers interested in remodeling him into a better fighter. Frustrated by his lackluster performance, he agreed. The development team set out to make him the next generation of Virtuaroid. Unfortuantely for them, it came out as more of a knock-off than anything else. While the remodel did help him rise in the standings, it came with the somewhat unwelcome stigma of being a copycat of the fan favorite Temjin.

For the most part, Ray's loadout and performance were on par with those of the Temjin line. His old vulcan rifle was rebuilt with parts from an M.B.P.L., creating a rapid fire beam weapon. Likewise, a bomb launcher was built using parts and data from an older Temjin design. While Ray has no real melee capability to speak of, he makes up for it with a pair of specialty systems.

The first is the Satellite weapon, a remote drone weapon designed to allow Ray to attack his opponent from multiple angles. However, complaints from other competitors have caused use of the weapon to be temporarily suspended while it is decided whether it is a legal weapon or not. Rays other notable feature is the Exceed System, an attempt to recreate the hyper system of Fei-Yen. When activated, Ray's performance and attributes greatly increase for a short time. However, the system is far from perfect and has a crucial flaw- once Exceed mode ends, Ray is virtually crippled until he has had sufficient time to recharge.

Ray's personality is rather laid back, bordering on apathetic. Having been created to succeed in the CTC, it is the only thing he shows any real interest in. He still retains his memories as the Ten-Eighty Special, but prefers not to think about them. His reputation as a bootleg Temjin is something that he has mixed responses to. While he has no regrets about his decisions, he wants to prove that he is more than a mere copy. To that end, his main goal is to defeat Temjin and show his true worth to the world.
