Only if he were to sell them as his own. Otherwise, it would be kinda stupid.

It wasn't that they got arrested for modifying and S.I.C., its that they got arrested trying to sell a modified S.I.C.. If I recall there are copyright and intellectual property laws. They did a lot of modding and selling to boot and I guess it caught up with them. Those figs have to be licensed if I am not mistaken.

But... It could be gifted... and then someone could just gift the person money... and make it a private "who wants the gift" auction? Ah, I don't know. Just looking for the holes to get my hands on a finely crafted and modified fig ^_^

Considering the Shinkengers haven't been very popular there, I doubt it. I don't think they'd make figures just to market to the US anyway. People have suggested Gokaiger variants for certain characters like that.. but that seems even less likely.
