Concepts that could be a tokusatsu, but aren't

Alright, so I wasn't sure exactly how to word the subject, but my idea is basically is to ask people what they think could be made into a tokusatsu? Such as a hero or story from another medium, or from something completely off the wall that could be made into a live action show or movie in a toku way. It can be made anywhere, not just in Japan.

My first thought is Turbo Man from Jingle All The Way. Really surprised it wasn't a real show for a while, since the movie was popular and they sold the action figure. I think it could work.

Oh yeah I remember that show.

I always thought it was a parody of Power Rangers.

I had a dream where Star Trek TNG was like a Toku......i'll repost what i wrote:

It was a TNG dream (not unsual for me), it was running like a episode of the show, then a Borg cube suddenly appeared. But then Picard said "ill handle this Number 1". Picard then (somehow) jumped up onto the bridge......as in OUTSIDE the ship, and said "ENGAGE!".

Then, well.......the song Rescue King starts and the Enterprise is in that Hyper-space road....thing that is what they are in Rescue Fire when they do a Final Rescue. The D's main deflector started to glow then shot out a flaming energy Dragon that hit the Cube dead on, and left a glowing outline of the Starfleet logo on it. Then the Enterprise's engines kick in, engulfed in red fire as it fly's toward the cube. The D start doing these Barrel roll's, and as it does it's getting enveloped in fire, until it turns into a beam of light that hits the giant Starfleet on the side of the Borg Cube, it then re-materialized on the other side, then logo grew brighter until the Cube exploded behind Picard as he did his "Maneuver", and said "Explosively Completed".

I would love to see a non-henshin style toku be executed.

We've seen plenty of non-henshin characters in toku who can fight in crazy ways. But that's never been the focus of an entire season.

For example, several Orphenocs from Faiz can fight in human form. Like Takuma and Murakami. They can fight and use energy blasts.

Same with Isaka from Blade. He was able to fight Garren without transforming.

Then there's the Grongi from Kuuga. Many of them were able to fight and kill people in human form.

Though in another sense, it could be like if the main characters were like "human-like Sentai villains." Like Jetman's villains, the Vyram. Or even a better example, the Gorma from Dairanger and the Youkai from Kakuranger. Almost every monster of the week had a human form. And they could still fight in crazy ways without having to transform!

This might kind of sound like Akumaizer 3.

Overall, the whole humans fighting with special effects without henshin has often been an element or a gimmick for most tokusatsu. I think it would be kinda neat and interesting to see a non-henshin toku be tried out.

Nothing about it made any sense for it to be a Superman parody. It pretty much had to be how Power Rangers came off to people who didn't know anything about it.
