Cody Ziglar, currently writing Static, has some exciting thoughts on the future of Milestone characters at DC. He believes they should be treated with the same importance as Miles Morales is at Marvel. Ziglar points out that elevating these characters can really enrich the DC universe, making it more diverse and relatable for a broader audience.

He said,

"I want to see these characters be foundational, not just like a side note,"

which shows he's really passionate about their potential. It's a great time for Milestone to get that spotlight and I'm here for it.

While I appreciate Ziglar's enthusiasm for Milestone characters, I worry that simply elevating them to the level of characters like Miles Morales might not be enough without solid storytelling and character development to back it up. They deserve more than just a title; they need their narratives to resonate and connect deeply with audiences.
