Pleased with the answer given to her by Gomaru, Emily merely nodded in acknowledgement, proceeding to lead the way as the two of them headed to her car. Just as the two got close, however, Emily promptly stopped as she spotted black orbs lining the pavement between them and the car. Tch...this is bad... she thought, watching the orbs form into strange humanoid warriors with swords. This causes her to assume a fighting stance as she stands defensively in front of Gomaru. I don't know if they know that the commander and I survived...or they're just indiscriminately laying down troops to decimate the city. Either way, I gotta defeat them... she thought, proceeding to move the Corresponder close to her face once more.

"Commander! I'm facing a little trouble here. Request assistance with searching for three other people with Birdonic Waves!" she told Makise, her eyes scanning the various weird forms surrounding the two of them.

"Acknowledged, Hunter. I will be setting out in Jet Swallow to search for them. Jet Hawk is headed your way," Makise replied, acknowledging Emily's request.

Upon receiving the confirmation she needed, Emily once more focused on the strange humanoid forms before her. "Inosuke-san, The lightning that struck you is no ordinary lightning; it will allow you to fight off these strange-looking soldiers," she told Gomaru, glancing at him momentarily before looking back at the footsoldiers surrounding them. Without wasting any more time, however, Emily quickly went into the attack, and started off by punching down one of the strange-looking creatures surrounding them.

As Kayla rounded the next corner froze voluntarily at the discreditable sight what stirred feared into so many of the city’s denizens. Marching through the streets brandishing unearthly swords were strange humanoid soldiers only captured in various fictional television series and films much to the young woman’s acknowledgement till this very point. Which brought her next to question if this had been a production currently in session stumbled across by accident. However, this was immediately discredited by the lack of production crew and their equipment in plain sight amongst chaos. Furthering backing up this claim felt shrapnel grazed her right shoulder as one of the humanoid soldiers cut through a park moped like butter with one downward strike.

Not registering the pain at first grasped onto the wounded shoulder after being brushed against by a fleeing bystander trying to escape the madness. Slipping steadily between her fingers needed not to know that the wound was pretty bad could not pull herself to flee the scene. It was like her body had taken on a separate will of its own refusing to answer any simple mental commands. Breathing sharply forced her to deny this unfathomable desire caught sight brought Kayla to reconsider. Cowering behind a mailbox was little child separated crying out for their loved one. In fear that these outwardly creatures will harm the child ran towards child. Kayla’s mind shut out the pain focusing only on getting child to safety above everything else failed to notice how light her body had had felt.

Flipping over few of the unknown creatures Kayla landed besides the frighten child with a soft smile kneeling down to their eye level, “Do not cry sweetie. How about we find a way out of this mess? I’m sure your family is worried sick about you.â€

Gomaru saw the strange humanoids appear before them from the orbs and he couldn't believe his eyes at first. Was this really happening? As crazy as it was, yeah, it was happening. He saw Emily talk to someone in her communicator thing again before telling him he can fight these things, with her launching into an attack against them soon afterward. Even though he hadn't done it in a while, it looks like he was going to call up his old Sumo training to deal with these threats before him.

It isn't very elegant, but maybe she'll be impressed by the strength I show off? He thought as he got into range of one of these humanoids. Reacting faster than his opponent expected, Gomaru delivered a palm strike to the creature's chest, sending it flying some way. Surprised at how much strength he did have, Gomaru proceeded to put this to good use, using his sumo training to get these creatures away from him before they could get off their own attacks.

The frighten tear stained face of the child followed as Kayla knelt down beside him till they were face-to-face. “I want my mommy!†The child sobbed loudly tore more heavily into Kayla’s heart brushed along the top of his head reassuringly as she looks amongst the suing chaos. With the city streets in an uproar of terror it was difficult to make out if the parents were searching for him. For now the only sensible course of action was to get the child far away from here as possible. Reaching down the small child wrapped both arms around Kayla’s neck as she stood back up holding him close taking a step back. The whole scene that played out seems so surreal and yet it was very real.

Shifting the child’s head onto her better shoulder turned around following crowd. What was going on?! Not even the local authorities that arrived on the scene shortly after stood hardly a chance against. The voluptuous pink-hair young woman wished that there was something she could do. It had not occurred to Kayla how she reached the lost child or fled had had been more light on her feet did not get easily exhausted like once before the unforeseen accident that left her comatose. As the two dodge and weave through the crowded sea a voice called out grabbing the child’s attention. This was indeed a good sign followed the direction the young child pointed out. Once the child was safely in his mother’s arm would instructed them to keep on going wanting to head back see if anyone else needed help.

“KYLE!†A woman ran frantically towards them Kayla stopped patting the child on the back, “Thank goodness! I thought….I thought…Oh…Thank you! Thank you for finding my son.†Kayla nodded briefly handing him over happy that the two were reunited.

“It’s nothing†Kayla insisted, “The important thing that you two are reunited and now need to keep moving. Right now it’s not safe to be within this proximity†keeping it simple not wanting to scare more alarm. The grateful mother glance at Kayla’s shoulder worrying, but told the two that it was nothing serious for them to worry about seeking that they take this opportunity to get somewhere safe.

Continuing to fight off the hordes of Viruses surrounding them, Emily knocked away one of the footsoldiers as she turned around to look at Gomaru. Oh good...He's doing fine. Still... she thought to herself, noticing more pop up as she instinctively moved her hand to the Cross Changer, preparing to transform. It was then that the Jet Hawk swooped in, drawing the attention of the various Viruses surrounding them. "Heh...Thanks. But I better clean up the mess around here first," she told herself, pressing the button on the Cross Changer. With a blinding flash of light, a baby blue suit with a bird motif surrounded the young woman's body. Heh...I can feel the power coursing through this suit, she told herself inwardly, drawing out the sword from the side holster and continuing her attacks on the footsoldiers.

Meanwhile, Makise has been flying over the city in Jet Swallow, searching for three others that have the Birdonic Wave signatures. Hmm...Jake Kairos...should be somewhere around here... she thought, checking out the monitor on the jet after checking the signature reader. At once, she zoomed in and found a young man frantically running about. That's gotta be him... Makise told herself, swooping in to pick up the young man.

Gomaru continuing to use palm strikes on the enemies before him and even managed to hip toss that got too close to him from the side. I haven't done this for so long...yet I'm still doing this good? Maybe I should have stuck with this after all... He was starting to think that he could have become a very successful sumo wrestler if he was doing this well when he saw Emily transform. Seeing her transformed form reminded him of all those hero programs he used to watch as a kid and, after knocking another minion away, he looked at the Cross Changer on his wrist.

Deciding to mimic Emily, he pressed the same button and a bright flash again emanated in the area. Once it died down, a yellow and white suit with a bird motif covered Gomaru's body. Oh wow...this is actually real! Delighted with this, he went back to attacking the minions around him, getting more aggressive in his physical attacks, not wanting to look like a slacker in front of his blue clad teammate.

As it is things were going pretty crazy right now for Jake, after all no one expects to find a giant humanoid bug monster to come out of an alleyway near their home. And then things took yet another turn for the weird when a weird jet appeared in the skies above, a weird jet that suddenly descended toward him. Was it after him? Was it crashing? Was it's pilot just a jackass wanting to mess with a guy already having a crazy day? Whatever the hell the answer was there was one very important fact that he couldn't ignore, it was coming right for him. Jake found himself freezing up right there, not quite with fear but with sheer surprise at just how nuts things were getting with each passing second.

With both mother and child reunited no longer in sight Kayla’s attention shifted back on the bizarreness unfolding in front of her very eyes. The more obvious action right now would run away far as possible did not feel the drive to take that course. In its place much to her own amazement a drive to do something about it. This brought her to question what or how as clearly lacked knowledge and everything for that matter to face them. Though rather beating herself on this any further opted help others get away far as possible. Removing both ribbons that held up her two loops quickly bandaged the wounded shoulder.

“That should stop the bleeding†Kayla satisfied went back to see if anymore had not the chance to escape. If she encountered any of those strange humanoid creatures Kayla simply find a means around them daring not to best confront them.
