[GAME] Chojin Sentai Jetman: New Strike Force

Right before he was going to (for real) start some hacking, Gomaru heard knocking at this door. He really didn't know who would bother him right now. He wasn't expecting any friends, his employers always called him by phone, and his parents would always call before visiting him. Sighing, he was going to shoo them away and then get back to the work at hand.

Walking over to the door, he carefully opened it and started to speak. "Whatever you're selling, I don't want any...huh?" And then he saw the person before him. She was an extremely beautiful woman, with long hair done in a ponytail, a cute face, a noticeable chest, among other nice features. Gomaru went silent and tried to gather his thoughts. After a few seconds of deep thinking he spoke back up. "Um..." He cleared his throat. "What is it, Miss?" He said as calmly as possible.

Witnessing the door open, Emily's nose was instantly greeted by a sort of stench that she could not put her finger on. However, disgusted as she was by the odor emanating from the interior of the apartment, she resisted any thoughts of wafting the air before her face, as she saw that the occupant of the house -- a heavyset man wearing jeans and a t-shirt -- was looking at her. Reading his expression, Emily surmised that the man before her was single, possibly having little contact with females until now. Nonetheless, she withheld all judgements she had of him, and listened to the man's question. Remaining standing outside so as to respect his personal space, Emily began to speak up.

"I suppose you know already of the changes in your body, of how you've suddenly become stronger. I'm sure you've had to adjust your life in order to accomodate for such strength," Emily said, folding her arms under her breasts as she maintained a serious tone. Keeping her gaze upon the Heavyset man's eyes, she began to speak some more. "What if I told you I know exactly why the changes happened to you, and what if I told you I can help you deal with that problem?"

Meanwhile, in a nondescript location with barely any light, three ominous figures lingered by. In the middle was a demonic being, his hand propped on a large sword with several prongs. To his right was a buxom, scantily-clad woman, her headdress resembling a dinosaur skull, while her clothing, though it covers little of her voluptuous body, seems to be made of silk. To the left of the figure in the middle stands a robot-like figure holding on to a futuristic looking gun. All three were focused upon a monitor before them, which showed two views: One was of the city of Tokyo, the other was of the new Skybase, which was completely decimated. Finally, the figure in the middle spoke up.

"Foolish humans. Whatever they are planning down at the city is pointless. We will be their rulers anyway," the demonic figure said, his voice rough and edgy.

"Lord Yabu, perhaps it is their foolishness that blinds them from the truth. Perhaps we should destroy more of their precious buildings in order to make them bow down to us," The scantily-clad woman replied, her voice smooth and seductive as she spoke.

"Hmm, yes...you're right, Wyrna. I shall send down a sentry to destroy the buildings and kill off these weak and pathetic humans," the demonic figure, named Yabu, agreed, turning his attention to Wyrna.

"Lord Yabu, we should be wary of the two survivors from that floating fortress. We do not know what they have in store," the robotic figure spoke up, expressing concern.

"Arr...Do not concern yourself with those survivors. Their weapons proved useless against us, Borg Dargoth. Still, send the Viruses with our sentry. Let's make sure that those who resist are dead," Yabu told Borg Dargoth, waving him off. In response, Borg Dargoth bowed slightly as a show of respect, and headed off to prepare the Viruses.

Looking on as Borg Dargoth left, Wyrna let out a sexy and malicious smile, conjuring a spider-like creature on her hand. She then threw the creature across the room, instantly disappearing into thin air, its destination unknown. Hee...with this mutator crab, Anything that it touches becomes our sentry, Wyrna thought, knowing that the humans have no defense against it, nor do they have any defenses against the Viruses that Borg Dargoth will send.

The interview at the local pet shelter went quite smoothly than what Kayla expected felt a great deal of relief to have made the milestone step towards her dream. With soon to be attending classes the voluptuous pink-haired young woman filled out the paper work being only part-time. There was an understanding that on the weekends if needed be on call. What came next did not went accordingly as finding employment visiting different locations available for rent came up short either due hardly having a credit score or rent beyond her reach that were within distance of the campus. Kayla knew that her parents would have opted being co-signers on the leash wanted this to be her very first place of residency on her own.

After spending several hours Kayla stopped at a familiar western fast food chain McDonald’s for a small bite to eat. It had been few months stepping inside decided to see what is like here in her new hometown. Much to Kayla’s surprise there were few items overseas while the rest compiled selections found there. Aside from a small salad, Kayla sat down enjoying a Teriyaki McBurger (Ground pork patties (similar to breakfast sausage patties without seasoning) with mayonnaise, lettuce, and teriyaki sauce) and strawberry shake scratching out the location names that she had had visited. “Mmmmmm….†Balancing the pencil between her fingers stared down the remaining rental properties while stirring the half-finished beverage. “Delicious….hmmmm….Maybe I am looking at this in the wrong angle keeping my prime choices closes as possible.â€

The locations that Kayla mapped out had always been primed within the campus proximately more likely be more successful branching out. Nodding the decision was made clear what her next move to make lean back glancing out the fast food restaurant window. After since the incident each morning Kayla felt an enormous amount of energy felt confident no matter what the day good or bad welcomed it gladly on the second leash on life. What was puzzling of the day of that incident being within a coma for some time. Naturally it was not uncommon to be stricken by lightning suffering minor injuries or fatal, but never in anything describing her ordeal. Shaking free of such trouble thoughts stared wide-struck at the time now displaying on the mobile phone.

“AHHH!!!!! I AM GOING TO BE LATE!!!!†she shouted nearly catching the attention of those around her. Kayla merely laughed nervously apologizing for disrupting everyone’s meal before bolting out in a mad dash carrying only that she had taken with her.

Gomaru was quickly flustered. Compared to most otaku, his place was in better shape, but it wasn't suitable for a woman like Emily to enter. It wasn't the prospect of asking her inside that was bothering him either. The bottom line was that he had never really talked to someone as pretty as Emily and he was doing his best to not stare at her in any way, shape, or form. Instead, he listened to her words and, thankfully, they caught his attention.

"What? You can really help me out with this? How?" Sure, a part of him was skeptical, but he was rather desperate in wanting help over this problem by this point. He had no idea on whether his strength was something that would wane over time or stay persistent and, frankly, he didn't want to wait much longer to find out.

Disregarding the glances directed at her bosom by Gomaru, Emily remained standing outside the door of the heavyset man as she proceeded with her story. "Very well. First off...Did you ever notice anything strange happen to you, such as lightning striking you?" she asked Gomaru. While lightning bolts striking people are rare enough already...the fact that it's a yellow-colored bolt should alarm him...and it will also tell me it's the Owl Birdonic wave that hit him. The Birdonic wave is supposed to enhance the physical strength of the person endowed with it, she thought, her mind flying back to the briefing session given to her and four other soldiers before they started the infusion process.

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, the bug-like object sent out by Wyrna floated down to earth aimlessly, seemingly unnoticed by the general populace. As it glided ever so closer to the ground, it landed on a statue of a beetle, which had been discarded at an alleyway close to Jake Kairos's apartment for some unknown reason.

Upon landing on the beetle statue, however, it changed into a mass of energy, and infused itself on the discarded statue. At once, the statue also changed form, quickly becoming an organic creature, viscous slime dripping down from its fearsome mandibles. The beetle monster, acting on pure instinct, waddled out of the alleyway, snarling and hissing as it went after the people in the area, who then rushed about in a frenzied panic upon noticing the weird monster's presence.

Jake was more outgoing these days, having left behind his shy reserved ways long ago, but that didnt mean he didntenjoy a nice quite night back at the apartment with the tv and some random heated up frozen dinner, maybe a little internet surfing. And that was exactly what he wanted tonight, quiet solitude and a tv dinner. Those plans soon were dashed away by the freaked out crowd of people running away from the building he called home. Just what the hell was that all about? Some crazy dude freaking people out? Someone run over an ugly animal? Did Godzilla suddenly become real and was he coming from behind the apartment building? Fueled by curiosity he just had to figure out was was causing all the panic, and saw that it was none of the above. "Oh just a giant bug monster." he muttered as if the reality hadnt sunk in just yet as he kept heading for the building before suddenly stopping dead in his tracks. "Wait a sec giant bug monster? What the hell am I thinking?!" with the reality finally clicking he decided to join the rest in heading away from the freakish looking bug thing.

"Lightning?" He had to think a little. Of course, it didn't take him long to realize what she meant as, before he got this little problem, he did notice a yellow flash of light strike him before he went out. "Oh! Yeah, yeah, it is odd, but I think yellow Lightning struck me..." Though he was a little put off that Emily wouldn't come inside, he was at least happy that he answered her question. Her being so gorgeous meant that his chances with her were small, but he could hold out for a little hope at least. He was of course not understanding the gravity of the situation just yet.

Upon hearing the confirmation from Gomaru, Emily nodded, knowing full well what this meant. No doubt about it...he has been struck by one of the stray Birdonic waves after the Kronos assaulted Skybase version 2... she frowned, keeping her eye on the overweight man before her. However, before she could speak some more, her Corresponder began to beep, prompting her to lift up her arm so she can receive the transmission.

"Hunter, this is Commander Orimura. A Kronos beast has been spotted at the apartment complexes near the business district. I am sending Jet Hawk to your present location, as time is of the essence," Makise said, her voice blaring through the Corresponder on Emily's right wrist.

"Copy that, Commander," Emily replied, acknowledging the call to arms. As the communication between the two terminated, Emily looked up at Gomaru once more. "Come with me, Inosuke-san. The yellow lightning that struck you has a very important purpose," she told Gomaru, fishing out a Cross Changer from her jeans pocket as she proceeded to reach through the door and grab his left wrist, promptly placing the Cross Changer on it.

Arthur simply sat right back down on his bar-stool and counted the money he had won on the darts competition, completely ignoring the rest of the people in the bar. "There is no way you could have beaten me so easily!" The brunette heard an angry voice shout from behind him. Unfazed, Arthur simply put the money in his pocket and directed his attention back to this drink, continuing to disregard the man behind him. "Hey! Listen to me when I'm talking to you!" The man said as he put a heavy arm on Arthur's shoulder and tried to turn the foreigner around.

Even though the man tried with all of his strength, the brunette's body would not budge, it was almost as if he were a statue planted firmly on the bar's seat. Finally, Arthur put his drink down and slowly, without saying a word, simply glanced at the guy behind him.

Despite the lack of malice or anger, Arthur gaze was intimidating enough to make the man let go of his shoulder and slowly took a couple of steps back. "What... What the hell are you..." He questioned.

Arthur simply shrugged as his eyes returned the his drink. "Just a guy bored with you antics" He answered.

Gomaru tried to listen in on the conversation that Emily was having on her Corresponder, but didn't get all of it, which made him even more curious. Before he could ask about it, he was told to go with Emily and then a changer was put on his wrist. "Ehh? Wait, what is this and-" After seeing the changer, he then started to get excited again. "Oh wow, this looks like something on those hero programs!" Maybe this meant he had a new job now in some kind of special effects show? He quickly discarded that notion though, since Emily looked so serious. Trying to calm himself down, he then spoke again. "Oh...uh, I mean...yeah, I'll go with you...ah, lead the way?"

The next available apartment not yet crossed off had had required an appointment to view the complex and its amenities, which Kayla was now undeniably close missing that particular time window due taking that small break. Another appointment could be arranged. Naturally another appointment could be arranged of the viewing, but with now to be soon working at the animal shelter and class not too far ahead needed secure a place of residency did not have much time wait for the next showing. “Not quite exactly what I had hoped being closer to the campus really do not mind the extra commute if this works out.†Kayla glanced down at the address referring to the streets she passed along the way.

As the voluptuous pink-hair young woman paused to check the address again after noticing the numbers of the buildings were going down rather than up had had been traveling in the wrong direction completely. Rather than allowing such an easy mistake to get the best Kayla chuckled turned around fishing out her mobile phone. It might not be dual able for the landlord make an exception of staying there just a bit longer Kayla saw no harm to ask. Though before she could even get it out of her pocket the panic screams up ahead caught her off guard before being shoved aside roughly as people started running. W-What’s going on?!
