OH.....MY.....GOD!

I used to love this show too. I watched it all the time.

I remember when I was like 7 or 8 and I got a tv and cable box in my room, and there was a countdown for the Fox Kids channel to start running and I think the first show was Beetleborgs. I really used to love to watch Masked Rider, M.A.S.K, VR Troopers and Beetleborgs.

Then Power Rangers came on and I was like "OMGZOR!!!"

Beetlebrogs was pwing PR's ass in the ratings in 1996 and 97, dang near killed 'em. And heck, I can still enjoy this series, actually was'nt "Masked Rider" level **** (and I despised that the instant I watched it), and the Shadowborg saga (with the late Bob Pappenbrock in his most badass role in my opinion) was captivating and actually expanded the plot to incorproate Art Fortunes (the Beetleborg comic creator) as an ally. When Mettalix arrived, it was even better, the arcs and writing outclassed most of Turbo, if a little comedic. The only downswing was they cancelled B-Fighter, just when the show could easily have been right up there with PR now.

Beetleborgs was great, tenth anniversary also. BEETLE BONDERS!

Were there ever any Beetleborgs movies? I know there were B Fighter movies, but it's a bit unusual for a Power Rangers spin-off to have any movies made of it..

Two of the series' story arcs were edited into films, "Curse of The Shadow Borg" (the best of the Big Bad Beetleborg episodes), and "Mettalix Rising" (containing the season one finale/cliffhanger and the first three Mettalix episodes)

I still don't get why people hate EVERYTHING Saban does that is'nt Power Rangers related. Even in the face of overwhelming fact it was surpassing PR in ratings at one point, and on word of mouth from people who actually give ojective reasoning, this show WAS up there with Power Rangers, if not better than it during Turbo's run. I could also suggest that the "itz cheezy" arguments are a tad hypocritical, Mystic Force is reminding me not just of MMPR, but also...TAH-DA, BEETLEBORGS.

Must be bias I suppose, or "Justin Withdrawl Syndrome", the fear and loathing of child actors.:eyebrow:
