Since Cap's movie will be set in WWII, I think his costume really fits that era, and imo it looks terrific. The helmet seems to be influenced by the Ultimates' WWII Cap, but the rest are definitely unique and probably conceived by the film's director, Joe Johnson. Evans is winning over my skepticism toward him, and I really hope he'll be able to pull it off.

So, I'm thinking the above costume pic is actually post-suspended animation Cap. As you can see in the pics a page or two back where he is wearing what is undoubtedly WWII era clothing, he appears to have a more skin tight Cap suit underneath. I'm thinking when he gets released from the ice, he gets this new, more modernized costume made (especially judging by the guards in the back, they look too futuristic to be WWII era Hydra soldiers). But then again, I was under the impression that the WHOLE movie was supposed to be WWII era, so who knows. I just think the costume above is too modern looking if the latter is the case.

More than likely. Street gangs would not approve of that fashion, if they see him on the streets with that **** on. Then an ass kicking brawl will commence.

The suit is fantastic, and I really like Chris Evans' expression; he's daring you to peeve him off so he can open a can on you. :169: He is making me forget about his Johnny Storm in those two FF movies.

Btw, the shield looks better and better everytime I see it.
