That poster...wow. So fucking awesome.

In regards to Caps shield, I think it's stupid to say it's indestructible for the film. Adamantium is only "nearly" indestructible in the X-movies (as Stryker pointed out), so it kind of makes sense for it to be the same here. Besides, it looks cooler with a bit of wear and tear on it.

The wear and tear is to the paint. This is also true of the comic version, but artists rarely draw damage on the shield. The shield itself is indestructible, but the paint can scratch.

That looks like a gouge to me. I know it is silly to complain about such a small detail, but the shield is an important part of the Captain American identity.

I don't think it's been confirmed if his shield in the movie is indestructible, which is what we're discussing...obviously we know this to be true of the comics version.

Well, this weekend's trailer shows the non-painted version of the shield when they're testing it, so I contend that's just scoring on the painted metal surface.
