Well, it's true we can't really know the tone of the USO scene until the movie comes out. This whole debate may be much ado about nothing if the scene ends up being something totally unexpected.

Chris Evans has said the USO scene is going to be played for comic relief, though. Mockery-- in the form of parody-- would certainly be an easy way to get some laughs into the movie, much like the X-Men costume joke you mentioned.

My take on this is that we just have to wait and see how the scene plays out when the movie's released. Context is everything. If the scene really is meant to be comedic, then all that matters is whether it's genuinely funny, IMO.

Yeah I agree with you. It's all speculation until we see the scene ourselves.

That's what I'm talking about :castlerock: did anyone notice Cap jumping with the old non circle shield in the trailer? Something tells me the USO suit will be use in the 2nd act while the final suit in the 3rd
