My old boss was Russian. Cool guy. Though you could tell when he was talking to his mom on the phone, because the conversation would suddenly become unintelligible to anyone else. :laugh:
Speaking of unintelligible, my Chinese teacher has such a heavy accent that she completely ignores some letters in words. For example, typical Asians who speak Engrish would pronounce the word "usually" as "usuarry". My Chinese teacher, however, pronounces it as "urruarry". Sounds priceless if you actually hear her say it.
Nope, there's quite a few of us on here, but I think most of the chatty ones, at least, are in Southern California. My aunt was visiting me over Easter though, and she's in the Bay Area. :thumbs:
