[GAME] BTFD Rangers: Rebirth (Main Thread)

Sieg had been layin there for a while now, most seeemed to be fine walking around him, and oddly enough none tried to see if he was even still alive really. Though he wwasnt exactly unconcious, his eyes were very much open, he just seemed to have some trouble getting up. "I think it finally happened, im dead, definatly dead. Didnt even come close to finding my ancestor's secret. Just falling over dead after entering some city, what a way to go...." he muttered, conviced that he was dead or really really close. either way it seemed rather pointless to try and get up, he was certain his number was up after all.

Elsewhere the similar looking man named Aesir was just sort of drifting around randomly, seemingly with now goal, purpose or destination in mind. He also appeared to be lost in thought at the moment. Just what could be going on in this odd man's head? "Why did I come here again? Where is here anyway?"

Drake wondered through the halls of the Windorian palace, a castle of wonder that has truly withstood the tests of time. He recognized the palace, some things were different he recognized a lot of the artifacts hanging in the castle, remembering a time where they didn't look so beaten up and broken. He walked through the palace cloaked, and as he traveled through the hallway he noticed it was a buzz with activity, no doubt for the festival.

Eventually, Drake came to a large set of double doors with the Windorian family crest on it. Standing beside the doors were two guards, Drake approaches the door but is stopped by the guards "Halt!" One of the guards says, sticking their hand out "No one but royal family members and scholars may enter the Royal Library." He says. Drake says nothing, looking up from his cloak, he merely turns away Guess this means it's time for Plan B... He thinks. Drake makes his way to outside of the palace gates, finding a window that lead to inside the library.

Growing all along the castle were vines that the care taker had neglected to remove....lucky for him. Drake grabbed onto the vines, mindful of the thorns and began to climb. Landing onto the porch, Drake stopped in his tracks as a strange feeling washes all over him. I...I sense a dark presence...it's close! He thinks. Drake backs away till he's looking upwards, he squinted his eyes, feeling the dark presence strongest at the very top of the castle.

Drake looked into the library ...the truth can wait! He thinks as he leaps from where he stood and began to climb. The further he went, the stronger the presence became until finally Drake reached the source, as he arrived he crashes into the room, drawing his sword and points it towards Misaki's neck. "I smell a foul stench on you, you have been tainted by dark powers haven't you? Demon...I know you can hear me from within this shell....leave this body at once, or taste my blade!" He says

Zeke stopped in his tracks. He was in a city, a bustling metropolis that seemed to never pause. He looked to his left. He was on a...street, yes that's it a street. An avenue some called it. He looked right, seeing he was not in the way of oncoming traffic. Zeke turned his head and noticed a small shop that seemed less populated than anywhere else and quickly walked over toward it, leaning against a wall when he was close. He took a moment to analyze the place. It seemed it was an outdoor shop in that it had a large opening in the front where patrons could walk in and out easily. Seeing as it seemed to sell flora that made sense. A flower shop. Zeke closed his eyes and rested against the wall. On his back rested a large pack that he let slip to the ground, freeing himself of its weight. He sighed.

It had been two weeks since he left home. Two weeks of aimless wandering. It was fine and all, seeing new sights, but the young man needed some direction. He wasn't even sure why he left home to begin with. It was not like he couldn't survive on his own. Zeke opened his eyes, the glaring light of the city burning very differently than the light of his home. No, it was clear why he left home. He couldn't stand being in that place knowing he would be alone. Physically alone at least. The denizens of the forest offered friendship but Zeke craved more. He wanted to meet people, others like himself. Zeke looked over at the shop and blinked a few times. The flowers that bloomed reminded him of his home.

Disappointed with the responses from both Liselotte and Lorelei, Helena merely let out a sigh as she puts the top on the table. Haa...But Snail Races are so fun though..... she told herself inwardly, deciding that pleading with them any further would be a pointless exercise. Proceeding to the dining area to pour herself a pitcher of Fresh Milk she and Liselotte bought that morning, Helena spoke up once more. "What about the petting shack? I hear they're bringing in rabbits along with sheep and goats," she said with glee, hoping that both girls would be receptive that time around.

While Sieg lay on the ground assumingly unmoving a mother companied by her son walk past towards a small fruit stand. As the child’s mother bantered over the price of rather bruised fruit left her side inching curiously if the man was even alive. Snapping off a branch from a nearby plotted shrub crouched down continuously poking Sieg in his rib. “Are you dead?†The boy spoke, “Hey, Mister!†With each poke barely producing even a slight reaction the child started to poke harder until a pair of hands wrapped around his waist pulling him quickly away.

“What are you doing, Samuel?!†The mother voice spoke angrily slapping his wrist to drop the branch, “I’ve told you to stay right beside me where I can see you!†turning her child forcefully around to look at him face-to-face sighed heavily “What the hell where you thinking?! You don’t go up to someone like that and start poking them with a stick!â€

“I wanna know if he’s dead or not ma’†The child replied in his defense.

Ryagon merely smile pushing the sword lightly off to one side proven not to be mistaken of the aura it had felt, “Now both of us know that those are empty words coming from your mouth and would not carry them out.†Further examination must admit to be surprised that the one who stood before her did not appear to age barely a century that had passed by. A dark smile curled on the regal looking face as her eyes settled on the blade. "For not only would you not want to rob the kingdom of their beloved princess believing that there’s hope she can be saved, but to mark yourself and the others as traitors to the kingdom.â€

Returning her undivided attention at Drake continued plying more pressure on the blade till it the blade snapped easily as if it were made out of ice. It was both quite courageous and foolish thing on Drake’s part to think had not taken into his actions. “As you stand now…†licking the blood off her fingers, “You do not stand much of a chance really.â€

Touching her cheek lightly Lorelei realized that maybe what had been said about the snail races was a bit excessive. With this in mind nodded lightly finding the second option acceptable wanted Helena to have a good time doing something she wanted to do as well. “How about a bit of a compromise here?†making a suggestion to the two, “Seeing how the festival last longer than one day alone why not this†leaning forward a bit, “I know you’re dying to see the snail races and see no harm doing something you’d like to do. And if there something you’d like to do Liselotte then we’ll do that next. Then so on and so on, this way we all get to do something.â€

Hyounn merely laughed inwardly feeling at ease with a renewed hope that he could be wrong this day would be no different for them. “If you’re all ready to go then I’d suggest that we get a move on. There’s a bit of a long hike ahead of us and like to get there before you three miss out on everything. Furthermore, there’s someone I’d like to check on while you are taking this time to join in on the celebration. He nodded.

Liselotte was going to protest some at this. She really did not want to see the snail races, as they would just bore her rather quickly. Then again...what Lorelei said wasn't too unreasonable. Seeing it just for one day was better than seeing it every single day of the festival. Finishing her tea, she stood up from her chair. "Well...that is fine with me, Lorelei..." She then looked at Helena. "It isn't a problem with you, right?"

The floral shop owner paused from her work noticing Zeke staring at the freshly bouquet of flowers that had been displayed for the celebration. Putting down the gardening tools wipe the front and back of her hands as she walk over towards the young man. “They’re nice are they not?†The woman smiled, “I have been raising them with much love and care for the grand celebration. Afraid that this group is not for sale you see, but for decoration alone to commemorate this day. If you’re looking flowers for someone do have extra grown in the greenhouse that is just as nice.â€

Drake lets out a gasp as Ryagon broke the blade easily as though it was made out of paper. Drake chuckled a little, "You are overconfident, Demon..." He says clenching a fist, leaping away from her as he does, "All I need to do is separate you're dark essence from the host." He says.

Suddenly, the two large doors would burst open and two guards ran inside 'My lady, we heard a noise! Is everything alright?" He asks gasping at the sight of Drake "Y-you! B-but how...? The records say your dead!" He says. "Tch" Drake says, "We shall settle this another time, Demon!" He says, as he begins to make a mad dash towards the window, leaping out of it as he did. The two guards chased after him but it was useless as he was already gone.

"My Lady, are you alright? Did that barbarian harm you?!" The guard asks as more guards flooded the room.

Ryagon played the part of a frighten Princess shaken by Drakes intrusion as Captain of the guards bellowed out a chain of commands to search the entire grounds for the fiend approached the throne in deep concern towards their princess well-being. Resting one hand over her chest breathed slowly as if out of breath, “I am…merely shaken is all…†Ryagon replied looking towards the window. “I had been lost within my own thoughts when….that man entered declaring I’ve done him wrong….†Ryagon covered her face in both hands enhancing the performance. “Who was that man? What have I done wrong?â€

The Captain of the guards shook his head kneeling down before the Princess, “My Lady, you’ve done nothing wrong.†Hesitant not make her situation worse as she trembled before them, “That was no man…at least he is not anymore, Princess. That Demon was once a loyal servant to the Royal Family and Kingdom….until he revealed his truer nature and betrayed us all. At least that’s what the legends foretell. Worry not I shall see that measures will be taken accordingly and that beast is found. It is with my recommendation that you post phone the celebration till then.â€

Ryagon held no doubt that they would leave one stone unturned finding Drake and yet held other methods of her own. What was personally amusing had been his boldness to sneak right into the throne room powerless no less. “N-No….Captain….â€lowering her hands slowly “This celebration means a lot to the people….does my on safety take place first into the happiness of others?â€

Noticing Liselotte and Lorelei acquiesce to her request to watch the Snail Races, Helena started to feel a little guilty herself. I guess it's only fair that they get to do the things they like too... she thought, taking a swig of milk before speaking up once more. "Thanks...I'm sure the snail races will be fun. But, I'm also willing to go to the events the two of you will like. Festivals are supposed to be fun, after all," she told Lorelei and Liselotte with a smile, trying to cheer them up.
