BTFD Rangers (Main Thread)

When Lorelei caught glimpse of her sister’s smile broadening even brighter at the aspect winning a few gold coins from the snail races made her worried even more just a little. It was not the very thought placing a wager or two on a race what trouble the young sorceress, rather having to watch one of the most slowest creature moving down a mark. Exactly why was it even consider a race if it had taken them a minute leaving the starting line. Lorelei turn her head pleading silently to their master and new companion mouthing the word ‘help me’. Snail races….another thing that wasn’t really in her best interest.

When the two were no longer in her sight the young woman shook her head laughing nervously trying to keep in step “You and snail races will be the death of me.â€

In most cases, Helena would drag her sister to such snail races. Somehow, watching one of the Earth's slowest creatures inch its way to a finish line gave her a sort of excitement, as she observed which of the two snails could inch "faster" to the finish line. However, at this point in time, she felt guilty, and decided to hold back. I guess I'll just have to go on my own next time... she decided, stopping a few feet before reaching the stall. "Sis, where would you like to go? It'll be my treat," Helena spoke up, turning around to face her sister with a smile.

Lorelei had felt her sister’s guilt as they had both stop few feet from the snail racing stall. Already once Helena put aside another helping of the cheese potatoes for her sake, but was it really fair not to do something that Helena enjoyed? No, it was not fair at all. How many times have they done something together that Lorelei favored that Helena most likely did not enjoy? It was more likely just number as the times she had done something with Helena that was not quite up Lorelei’s alley. Shaking her head lightly took a hold of Helena’s arm smiling more softly. “Here’s some food for thought.” guiding her back over to the stall, “Why not we just enjoy the snail races together, hm? It wouldn’t really be much fun now if we did not catch a glimpse of the races.”

Hyounn waited until they had reached the inn that had been made ready for both the dragon humanoid and his companions’ arrival. It was there as they moved out to the viewing balcony facing the royal palace did felt at ease to answer the lad’s questions. “Ah yes, the ancient artifacts “Are you familiar with the ancient legend of the six warriors and dragons believed to have fought a dark entity seeking to conquer all of Windoria?” Hyounn grunted finally taking rest seating down at table with few delicacies laid out for them to snack on. “As you might be aware the legend varies from them being heroes and some….reveal them to be false charlatans to humanity. My clan….my family were the ones to have found them or so I’ve been told. They were handed over to the first royal family pledging services to them as the protectors of the six items. Only a member of my family could open the vault in which they were place as a need of precaution.” he continued taking a bite of a devil egg.

“My part of tomorrow’s main event is to reveal the items for the public and remind them of the bravery rather than what they have now come to believe. However, that’s not the only reason for my purpose of being here…I have offered my services to unite at last the two warring kingdoms with Windoria’s eldest princess Tamiko to the Prince Zeke who hails from the neighboring kingdom in the south of Windoria. It is a privilege to be ask such.” sighing heavily, “It is with a heavy heart that must incline wonder if another force is moving in to destroy all of this…”

The secret location that Tamiko’s intention of the two enjoying the rest of that night away from royal responsibilities lived up to its reputation not boring the two. It was a mixer of all class levels gathered listening to the more remixes and modern music. Having recognize his all too familiar regular the owner of the establishment guided them out to the top of the building where it was less crowded to enjoy the fireworks now starting to light up the evening sky.

As the two lean over the balcony railing Tamiko stole a quick glance at Zeke smiling. Tomorrow knew that their marriage would unite their two kingdoms. It was true that maybe few of their kingdom citizens still held resentment for each other, but it was something that the two would work on together. What made her waver from the happiness if only for a second was the vision. Even if the vision could not be fully trusted feared for Zeke’s well being all the same. Not only that but of her beloved sister who has suffered the most of the two siblings.

Ryagon turn around flexing her fingers in gesture of farewell and yet smirked darkly enjoying that was suffering unable to do anything to without drawing more of a scene proving him to be as the legends claim…a traitor.

When Ryagon entered the room caught glimpse of Arslan’s display of power and commentary to himself chuckle drawing close. “As you should I would agree. You’ll soon find that the pleasantries in waiting more the rewarding when it comes to striking your enemies. Moving around Ryagon folded out the wrinkles of her dress before sitting down in front of him on the settee, “Now…” she spoke softly, “About tomorrow main event….I think even you will be delighted with this course of action.”

The celebration had continued well throughout most of the night until stroke of midnight for tomorrow’s main celebration was not to be missed. Any traces left from last night festive were taken down and rearrange with decorations more suiting the unification of the once two warring kingdoms. By dawns first rays of light Windoria landscape appeared more serene like a summer’s dream. Hyounn stood out at the balcony both hands behind his back inhaling the aroma of freshly baked goods. There was no question that what the humanoid dragon saw down below was meant to be joyous could not shake off the feeling that it would soon be shattered.

“It’s time.” He muttered softly looking towards the castle in the distance. Turning around he walk back inside to awaken his students and new companion. Unfortunately much he prefer to sit down with them for some breakfast needed to depart for the castle before the street soon be overcrowded by the inhabitants and visiting travelers. Thankfully by the owners of the inn their rooms were located on the same wing. Knocking few times on their doors Hyounn moved back, “As much I would like to have given you further more time to sleep in cannot. Today we do not have that simple luxury. For it would be rude of us as invited guests to the palace.”

In the shared room with her sister Lorelei had been awake staring into the direction of the palace. Both light and dark auras could be felt omitting from the castle walls unseen by the human eyes, what had caught the young sorceress more appeared to be calling out. A voice that was vaguely familiar. “We shall be out within a few minutes master.” Lorelei replied glancing over her shoulder at the closed door. Helena could be seen snoring lightly in her sleep. Thinking back for a moment did had fun with Helena last night and it was no wonder to why she was a heavy slipper. Chuckling lightly she walked over to the girl’s bed and shook lightly, “Helena it’s time to get up.”

Keeping control over Misaki permitted the princess control over her body for the portion of the day. It amused the dark deity her plans for this day have all gone accordingly and even bonus knowing now that one of her enemies from the past is lock within the dungeon awaiting his execution. A thought did occurred that she could sway the man’s mind to becoming one of her followers, but that alone was merely a thought as her mind currently set about positioning her pets.

Misaki smiled softly looking at her sister’s reflection cast on the mirror of the older girl’s room. Tamiko was dressed in a soft white gown that matched the girl’s free-spirited nature and met their grandfather’s approval for the train attach once belonged to their mother. “Grandfather was really upset that I had snuck out last night with the Zeke?” The older princess handed her brush upon Misaki’s subtle gesture.

“What do you think?” A voice replied entering the room smiling, “Then again you always had that nature about you. Alas, I am in no longer position to tell you that.” Osamu chuckled entering the room. “My dear your parents would be in no doubt of my mind proud of what your doing today.” The two sisters stared quietly at each other for a moment and then at their grandfather who had the same expression of remorse over his face.

Sollisferrum wasn’t one for festivities, after he’s lived a long time. Celebrations and wedding doesn’t excite or change the lich’s mood or feelings about anything. He was just out here for the crowd control making sure that Ryagon’s plans goes smoothy. Holding the Prince on a life string, Sollisferrum retreats due to his annoyance of the crowds. Tsubasa took control of his body once more, he was at first surprised at the outfit he was wearing, a black coat lined in gold designs. Tall boots and not one but two swords were attached to his belt. He wasn’t sure if he was going to be headed to a wedding or a war, but this was the outfit choice that was picked by Sollisferrum.

Due to the time constraints on things, Tsubasa figures it would be best to try and keep up with his fiancé. Misaki since things were so hectic, it would be best to find her as soon as possible before the public staff tear them apart. Tsubasa approached the staged area for the monarchy; as soon as he entered he waved to Misak trying not to interrupt her and her sister’s talk with the King.
