Brand New Astro Boy Trailer!

Back at the end of December, the first teaser for the upcoming CGI adaptation of classic anime series Astro Boy hit the web. Nearly three months later, the official site has finally put up the full trailer for the film! And you can watch it right HERE!

Astro Boy follows the exploits of a powerful young robot determined to win the heart of his creator by taking on the role of a superhero. Think AI: Artificial Intelligence meets The Incredibles and you’re about there. Directed by David Bowers (Flushed Away) and featuring the voice of Freddie Highmore in the title role, with the additional star billing of (deep breath) Nicolas Cage, Donald Sutherland, Nathan Lane, Bill Nighy, Eugene Levy, Kristen Bell, and Matt Lucas, Astro Boy is presently set for release on October 23rd. The Hula video streaming site was heard to have posted a teaser trailer, but it was taken down shortly thereafter.

That's coo. :buttrock:

Looks like a very enjoyable movie. Plus that circuitry jazz in the beginning is AMAZING. It looks great.

It doesnt excite me at all. Almost feels like a random movie being thrown out there. But it does look like it might be decent

Okay, I'll admit that the trailer definitely looks pretty cool. But, I just hope it's not as bad as Dragonball: Evolution.

By the way, who's the actor who plays Astro Boy? I forogt his name.

About 80% of the reason why DBE turned out so bad (yet hilarious) was because of the idiotic, inexperienced, stereotypical gangster black man screenwriter behind it. That's not the case with Astro Boy.

Freddie Highmore plays Astro, he starred in The Spiderwick Chronicles, August Rush, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

:nono: That sucks man. DB could of been way better.

That bastard. I wonder if this was his first time?

I honestly never heard of him before. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was probably the first time I saw him, just never knew his name.
