Boukenger --> Operation Overdrive

Aye Yi Yi Yi...!

I have to agree with Skyknight. Here's what he said:

Personally, the best fans are people who like both Sentai and PR

The truth is that I'm a true Power Rangers fan since it started back in 1993. I was 9 years old when it came out on television. I loved all 10 seasons that Saban made. I'm MORE fan of Saban than Disney. Sorry, Skyknight.

I like both Sentai and PR. But what I'm saying that Sentai is better than PR because of Disney's work. I don't like what Disney has done with PR and continue to ruin PR. This year's PROO sucks hard. Badly. I hate it.

There are two Sentai shows I didn't like was; Gaoranger and Boukenger. They both sucked. Magiranger was ok, not great. Hurricanger, Dekaranger and Abaranger are all my favourite Sentai shows ever.

I recently watched Turboranger, first two episodes and I like it so far. I watched first three episodes of Zyuranger, I'm not sure about Zyuranger because of those annoying kids, personally, I think it'll be suck. First episode of Carranger, I'm not sure. It has a pardoy in it, A LOT. First two episodes of Liveman, I thought it was awesome. And for Kakuranger, I'm on episode 15, I LOVE IT. I'm continue to watch Kakuranger as well along with Kamen Rider Agito.

Super Sentai is not always perfect. Same with Power Rangers, both... Saban and Disney.

The good thing is that I got back into Sentai this year. Thanks to Gekiranger and so far, I love Gekiranger. I'm very, very impressed with this, I admit it has it's flaws. As long as I have a high hope for Power Rangers Jungle Fury.

Honestly, I want to love Disney's Power Rangers, but those didn't work out very well.

Otherwise, I personally don't want to see PR vs Sentai flame war. It is one of the most stupid thing to argue which one is better, PR or Sentai.

I guess, that's all I got to say. I'm out of.... eh.. ya know.

OK guysd all I can say is the Toei version and Disney Versions are variations of the same but with differant side plots

US side plot Vs Toei

Japan - Rangers work in a sporting goods store
USA - Rangers work in a pizza parlor

Japan - Police Detective Rangers
USA - Rangers attend an Academy in 2025

Japan - Artifacts Hunt
USA - Artifacts Hunt PLUS the Jewel Quest

Episode plots from Toei featured in Power Rangers on several occasions dating back to Space Patrol Delta. (17 to count there) Mystic Force was even more adapted from Magic 2 years ago.

Venom Fists - Adapted as Five Fingers of Poison.
Mele and Rio - Adapted as Camile and Dai Shi respectively

while Disney has been leaning tward the Toei episoides they add US side plots to give it western origionality which is refreshing.

So I say based on the comparison dead tie.

You also forgot to mention that in Dekaranger, the team was already assembled before Sen-san, Umeko, Ban, and Testu joined. Well, it started with Hoji, Jasmine and Ban's Sempai, then Sen, and then Umeko before Dekaranger started. At the end of the show, Tetsu is appointed the Leader of the Earth Branch SPD, while Ban joined the Fire Squad.

Where as in SPD, Jack and Z are two street kids who just got arrested for helping the homeless and then volunteered to join SPD. At the end, Jack quit and Sky was the new SPD Red, while Z stayed as SPD Yellow.

Of course that doesn't really matter because the storylines had their pros and cons however, Toei would seem to be more entertaining, while the Disney-era PR shows are reduced to just emotionless, 30-min toy commericals.

Japan - Rangers work in a sporting goods store
USA - Rangers work in a pizza parlor...What?

He was reffering to the odd jobs to both the Gekirangers and the Jungle Fury rangers. You know, when they are not in battle.

Just can't resist the call of the slam...

And I personally find the Toei shows to be as emotionless or sterile as anything done in PR.

I mean you can only go with Magic is courage/Endless Bouken Spirits/Geki of Justice, crap for so long, even though it's all basically the same crap.

And Toei's a lot worse about the Toy commerical part. It's the same group of sponsors every year, and the process is so smooth by comparison to what PR goes through. So the whole pill is a easier to swallow.

And what does all that mean to me....
