Best show debut for 1st qtr. 2009.

Well they're added because they look good with Toei toku. I mean, Sonny with a Chance + Samurai Sentai Shinkenger = good stuff!

That's like saying Morning Musume goes well with Garo.

Morning Musume ^

And you probably won't get that analogy, but I used it to make a point. Please do not take offense to what I am about to say because I am doing this very cordially. ...

You can not expect people on a board about Comic books, video games, and Japanese entertainment to embrace your admiration for for the Disney franchise. You may have some here and there, but I've noticed for nearly a year and a half that there's always been some sort of apprehension to your threads.

Just because you like Disney doesn't mean this board does. Your targeting the wrong crowd and I personally think that you would have a warmer reception at a community that enjoys the Disney franchises. Asking this place something like, let's say, " Does HSM work well with Boukenger " is like me telling this board " Does ARASHI go well with Ultraman Nexus "

And even in that light I have some room because Nagano Hiroshi of V6 was Ultraman Tiga and V6 is another group under the Johnny's & Associats umbrella that ARASHI is under.

I think you need to understand that if you're going to do things like this don't expect people to get it and don't expect people to answer it warmly or with open arms. When you're talking about The Lifestyle of Billy and Cody or whatever shows are on Disney, what makes you think people here are going to get it let alone watch it or understand what you're saying?

There's a time and place for everything, and your Disney fanboyism on this board isn't one of them. I know you like Toku, that's fine, we all do... but Disney and Toku don't mix with a lot of us....

Just like Oil and Water.

No. No. No. No.

There is nothing in common between Sonny With a Chance and Shinkenger OTHER THAN both of them premiering in 2009. One is a sitcom on the AMERICAN Disney Channel, the other is an action/adventure series on the JAPANESE TV Asahi. Stop posting this stuff here.

Please use the TV.com forums to talk about these Disney shows, or maybe some other forum where those things are discussed. The only show on Disney that we talk about on HJU is Power Rangers, and only because it wasn't on Disney to begin with, and even then it's relegated to the Toon Disney Channel/various Jetix channels/whatever those are being renamed to.

In short, DISCUSSION OF DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL SERIES DOES NOT BELONG ON A TOKUSATSU FORUM. The only American produced shows that should be discussed here are those that are made as reproductions of the Japanese shows. The only place where Disney stuff could remotely be discussed would be a thread dedicated SOLELY TO DISNEY STUFF in The Power Chamber board. I know I haven't watched the Disney Channel since I was in middle school, and I have a feeling that goes for everyone else on this board.

Seriously. How can you compare [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZwZ8TNOuDk[/ame] with [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0ey4suvpZw[/ame]? THEY DON'T EVEN REMOTELY APPEAR TO BE THE SAME.

Same goes here.

You just never learn your lesson. You're like a brick, a Disney Channel brick. Next thing you know you'll be back to your old ways of telling everyone to give you good feedback on your poppycock nonsense if we leave you unchecked.

And a quick fyi Supernatural is more "toku" than any of the shows you listed.

OK OK before I can ignite a fire storm here, I'd stop right away and shall we go back to where you guys are excited for? I don't want to start arguments because of this. (I know, I know, blame it on me... again. :redface2:)

Before I can get shot by the mods, I'd shut up... NOW.

And to answer Ryulong's question:
Both are entertaining, and both will debut on the same month. (to avoid saying the name of the show, I'll just say that they will debut a few days (and countries) apart.)

And to HaiTien78, I'd shut up now,
OR
You guys can keep discussing this thread without me. I knew I should have never did this. :redface2:

Just to catch up:
If I do this on a DC-based forum, the people won't understand what "tokusatsu" or "sentai" means. It's a burden.

Here thats one good idea amongst the standard cop out, lets not **** storm things yet again with your unique case on the board. But just to grammar nazi things, its I'll not I'd.

Good, now you understand where we come from.

Still doesn't mean they can be compared. That's like me saying which Japanese drama had the best premiere this month against Shinkenger. This board is not going to understand your ideology.

This thread wouldn't have been a problem if you didnt include the Disney stuff.

So if you don't do it there then what makes you think WE'RE gonna get it? There's a time and place for everything, if no one got it then and no one got it now what makes you think we're gonna get it? Majority of this board hasn't watched Disney channel shows in 15 years or more. Last Disney channel show I regularly watched was that Alice in Wonderland show.

Why dont you try Rangerboard? They're more open to Disney channel then we are.
