Best 2000's Sentai Show

Now that Shinkenger-the final show of the 2000's-is over, I'm asking you guys which was the best Sentai of the past decade.

Timeranger is probably the best, though I also enjoyed Gekiranger and Magiranger. Magiranger was more of a guilty pleasure, though. :P

I haven't see Gaoranger, Hurricanger, Abaranger, and about half of Deka, though. I'll get to them, eventually.

Timeranger is probably the best of the shows on that list, though I tend to think of Timeranger more as the last 90s show than the first 00s show.

That's true of most decades, right? Its really the second year in which they start to set up the trends you'll be seeing for the rest of the decade. (Hurricanger...add two rangers...then another ranger...then a seven part mecha of all normal-sized robos.)

Anyway. Of what I've watched a significant portion of (Gao, Deka, Magi, Bouken, Geki, Go-On and Shinken)....its gotta be Bouken. But 2000's Mirai Sentai Timeranger has a shot if the heroes impress me like Bouken's did. Already they have a better plotline.

For me, it's that Timeranger feels more like the production style in 90s Sentai than in 2000s Sentai. Gaoranger pretty much changed everything regarding how Super Sentai seasons were approached.

It's nothing rational, just how I feel about Timeranger in particular. Virtually everything made after Gaoranger-- even Boukenger and Shinkenger-- honestly reminds me more of Gaoranger than almost anything before it.

Zyuranger also to me felt like it marked another major stylistic shift. You can sort of compare Jetman to the shows of the 80s, but everything after Zyuranger feels just a world away from the 80s style.

On some level I'm expecting Goseiger to introduce the next decade's big changes in production style. It feels like a very "different" season from the promo materials.

I voted for Timeranger, it was a good way to start the new millenium.
I also thought Dekaranger and Magiranger were good.

I voted for Dekaranger purely because I loved their designs and of course, gotta love DekaYellow and DekaBreak.

All of them are good, except Go-Onger IMHO.

From what I've seen of most of these shows, I agree. Zyuranger WAS sort of a shift, though its hard to describe everything that changed from both that series and Gaoranger. I just thought it was because 90's Sentai was so tied to my experience with Power Rangers, so everything before the first series was "different" and everything after Saban handed things off was too. But, you've never seen Power Rangers, right? So it can't be that.
