Um, actually neither color. "Technically" the helmet I have should've matched the KR1 in the first pic. But it is more silver than that dark, dark, blue.

Not trying to do KR2...I'd have to change my whole suit top, and helmet as well.:disappoin

I am trying to get the "old school" KR1 New Version but along the lines of The NEXT.:shakefist

A few pages back, Igadevil shared a pic of the three Riders, and I am trying to do the "one in the middle".:sweat:

This has encouraged me to try making a KR V3 THE NEXT version suit, but the problem I will be having is the colour, materials and the damn helmat!! :shakefist
Anyway I can't wait to see it finished, you will be posting pics right?

BTW, does anyone know if this silver armor was just for one of the KR old school movies?

It's from a ZX-era photoshoot, I think. So it would most likely be the suit as seen in the ZX TV special.

However, still wondering...is it STILL too dark?

Cripes, I should just go and paint it back to the initial brighter green I used.

How does it look next to the helmet and everything else? The photo makes it look like an olive drab, maybe you want it to be a more deep green? But again, that's how it looks to me based on the picture.

Anyway, I think this is it...the final suit based on Igadevil's "spoiler pic". Please don't mind the crappy pics, but the weather here is just as crappy, so I had to settle for indoor pics with the *gulp* flash!

Front: You can see the studs on the boots, and I kept the "Battle Worn" theme with the paint job. I was standing on cardboard because the edges of the boots had a "not so dry" paint feeling to them.:disappoin

Rear: Showing the elbow armor, studs on the upper back, and yes, I gotta get a red strap for the belt.:sweat:

Ready for Shockah! Studs on knee armor are visible in this one, as is that little "bubble thingy" on KR1's gloves:

Anyway, thank you to everyone for helping me out, especially to the legendary Igadevil for seeing my suit concept from the get go. However...now I am wondering...how this suit would look in that ZX photoshoot of KR1 with silver chest armor?!?:buttrock: Also, per the supplied "spoiler pic" provided by Igadevil, if I wanna change into Nigou, all I gotta do is re-paint the gloves and boots red, and add a single stripe!!! Oh wait...I would need the KR2 Helmet though! D'Oh!!! Speaking of helmets, just taking pics with this helmet on was
