"Battle Worn" KR1: The NEXT

That looks pretty cool, my only suggestion being to maybe darken the gloves a bit so they're a closer shade to the mask. I think that would make it a bit more cohesive since the costume you're basing it on uses the same color silver for the mask and gloves (and boots), and you probably don't want to have to lighten the mask up, so darkening the gloves would look pretty cool IMHO. That's my suggestion anyway, but do what you want. Otherwise it's solid, and the chest armor really looks nice. Great work!

Hey Igabro,

Hai, hai...wakateru yo! I agree on the gloves completely, and you are correct in that I do not want to "lighten the mask up". I would definitely "fubar" it for sure.

Oh man...but now comes the boots and pants.:redface2: One thing is certain, I am SO glad that my bro who gifted me this KR1 Helmet did NOT send me the Hyper Kabuto Helmet! Definitely would have lost it by now trying to make THAT costume. Heck, even just thinking about how to make it would have made me a candidate for the looney bin for sure!:sly:

Thanks for your input and words of Ridah Wisdom. Happy Holidays and Henshin Safely always!:buttrock:

Howzit Takumi,

Yeah, I know that's what they use for the replica suits...but I ain't too good at such things. Plus, how the hell would I start it?

Thanks for checking it out, and Happy Holidays!

Henshin Safely!
Well if you know how to sculpt it's easier, you could make one out of clay for instance and then make a mold out if it. I was planning to make a helmet since my dad has a lot of fiberglass lying around but I'm not so skillful with clay.

Happy holidays to you too
