Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Just finished the last four episodes...I find it a bit odd that they went with Galactus and yet they did not introduce the Silver Surfer. I agree, the show ended with a bang but the battle did feel a bit rushed at the end. It's a shame they never finished the plot with Surfur, would've liked to have seen the Asgardian Iron Man in action again...:disappoin

The scene with Yellow Jacket, Brand, and the Kre Bomb was the best part of the Kree episodes I thought.

Silver surfer was probably not introduced, since he's basically an F4 character.

But not only have the Fantastic Four themselves shown up on multiple occasion, but Doctor Doom as well.

Oh well...I'm just glad they ended the season without leaving us hanging, or setting up for another big story arc, like Wolverine and the X Men.

On Silver Surfer: My guess is they didn't want to introduce a new character on top of Galactus and his world eating things, it would have been more suitable for a two-parter.

Also, did anyone else see the similarities between this and the Justice League Unlimited Series finale?

Anyways, Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes will hold a special place in my heart as it was the series that turned me on to comics, learning their the character's individual back stories and really getting to know them. I'm sure I will love the new series and can't wait till that is on.

I actually loved the fact that they used other heralds (Terrax, Firebrand, Air Walker and water guy whose name can't remember). But yeah, having Silver Surfer going and warn them about Galactus would been cooler...

...still it was awesome when Cap gave out the call and everyone getting ready!!:castlerock:

Well, I haven't really followed the comics, but I assume that the events here are mostly based on the Avengers' standpoint.

I looked it up on Wiki, and the way they defeated Galactus followed one of the comics, yeah.

...wonder why Hank never told anyone till now that he picked someone else to be Ant Man?

As far as Hank, I think it was assumed. They probably still heard about Ant-Man, while Hank was with them.

True, I expected Scott to appear in the episodes following to Steal an Ant Man, but I took it that he needed to train before joining the Avengers.
