The date was May 4th 2132, a date that would have remained eternally infamous if the historical records hadnt become so degraded and inaccurate because of what had began that day. Humanity is no stranger to war as evidenced by the history of the various civilations established by humanity, but no war has brought destruction on such a massive scale or left so much damage as this one war that would be known as the Decade of Blazing Steel. It wasnt a war fought only with common soldiers, tanks or jets, it was a war where machines of a different sort which rendered such things totally obsolete. Large humanoid mechanized humanoid vehicles known as Megaliths which dominated the battlefield in this war. Many of which were mass produced with various high ranking or highly talented soldiers using custom models. Their importance in battle was further emphasized by the fact that not just anyone could control these machines ,especially the custom models, only highly skilled individuals referred to as Crusaders could handle such machines. More often than not such soldiers were from families considered to be nobility or produced by eugenics to give them the physical abilities needed to handle such machines. Not only were they skilled pilots but accomplished fighters in their own right thanks to intensive training each beam saber-like weapons known as Luminaires which function as the keys for their various megaliths, with custom versions of these weapons functioning as the keys for the customized megaliths.
The war raged on for a time that is still not accurately known, all that is known is that war raged on until there was simply no clear enemies or allies anymore. The powers that once sought to annhilate each other had more or less dissolved into nothingness, government was a thing of the past as were the political affiliations of the various armies. Civilization managed to begin rebuilding itself, mostly into various small, independant city-states whose citizens simply wish to survive. But what of the Crusaders who fought so valiantly in the past? Were they content to lay down their weapons and help rebuild now that there were no clear enemies for them? Some did, but most did not. While some were fine with retiring from battle many of the old Crusaders felt cheated, they felt that the with the way the war ended that there was no victory. They felt no satisfaction with the forced peace that was brought about, they wanted some sort of triumph, they wanted to satisfy their need for combat. Forming into a world wide army of loosely affiliated groups known as the Demon Corps, or simply Demons they began to prey on the settlements that had been established. Food, money, women, they sought to seize everything for themselves as they felt they deserved it after what they had went through in the wars.
One settlement, known as Avalon whose greatest blessings of prosperity and suprisingly fertile ground became their greatest curse as the Demon Corps would frequently return to seize what they had yielded. Having grown tired of the harsh way of life the Avalonians have done something that no other settlement has dared to do: fight back. They know that they themselves couldnt stand up to the Crusaders of the Demon Corps, thus they have set out to recruit the aid of the Crusaders ofthis world who still retain the ideal of defending the weak and upholding justice. This is the story of those Crusaders, known collectively as the Avalon 7.

And now, my profile:
Name: Rayse Valdur
Alias/Nickname (optional) : Luke Valdur (former name)
Age: 24
Appearance:
Megalith: Caladbolg
History: Back when there were still things known as governments, in the later half of the great wars their were two twin Crusaders known for their prodigy like level of expertise that fought for what was once called the Lazuria Alliance. Their names, Rayse and Luke Valdur who at the time were two of the youngest pilots within the army at the age of 16 and had quite a bright future ahead of them. Nonetheless though tragedy had a habit of following their family around throughout the years though, and it appeared that they wouldnt escape such a thing either. In a bit of a publicity stunt by the alliance they had sent the two into actual battle along with a battalion of soldiers. The whole thing was a colossal fiasco which started when the pressure got to Rayse and he fled in fear. Only a few troops returned along with Luke who felt he had to do something in order to cover up the same of his brother's actions. He felt he had no other choice but to bribe the troops that survived in order to keep the truth concealed as well as forsake his own name and identiyy as he assumed the name and identity of his twin brother while creating a false story of his real identity's death. Thanks to his identical appearance he was able to pass himself off as his brother and more or less became Rayse as he went on to have a promising career within the military and eventually became one of the youngest generals within the Lazuria army at the age of 20. Though what happened on that one day continued to linger within his mind...
Within the last few years of the war quite a bit had happened to him. He won many battles, while losing a couple here and there due to varying factors. He was briefly engaged to a fellow pilot known as Lonna Vash who he had a relationship with for a while, only for the Valdur curse to strike once more as her life was taken on the battlefield, an event which in turn crippled his faith in his ability to command. By the time the war ended he and his Megalith the Caladbolg faded into obscurity as he simply lost the will to even pick up his Luminaire again. He was content to hide the Caladbolg as he laid low within various settlements where he helped out in whatever way he could. With the rise of the Demon Corps who from his point of view violated and mocked everything that he, those he considered close and those he had lost in war rose up and began to attack the various settlements he once again felt his blood boil as he picked up his Luminaire once more and began traveling from place to place, fighting of the Crusaders of the Demon Corps.
It wasnt long before these actions caught the eye of Rickard Lusseff, a villager from Avalon who had left to find Crusaders to fight for the town. Now it's only a matter of getting in contact with him, which has proven to more difficult than initially believed. Finally it should be noted that his Luminaire boasts an extra aggressiver blade that is noticably larger than molst, much like the one weilded by his mech, it was naturally someone difficult to master, but it can send enemies stampeding over one another in an attempt to get away.
Name: Rickard Luseff
Age: 38
Appearance:
Bio: As all of the Avalonian citizens Rickard's life had been greatly effected by the raids staged by the Demon Corps, but out of all of them none have been hit particularly as hard as Rickard had been. In one of the raids the Demon Corps, along with most of Avalon's money and food, they had also taken his wife as one of their trophies. It was this that convinced him that they could no longer maintain this way of life, that they needed to strike back against the Demon corps with Crusaders of their own. With the help of fellow Avalonian, Aileen Mortiff, he set out to find Crusaders who would be willing to help despite that Avalon could offer little more than food, some meager lodgings and Megalith maintenance. Rickard is very much aware of Aileen's crush on him, but chooses to ignore it, seeing it as nothing more than some youthful infatuation that will fade quickly, in addition he fins the age difference to be a little too large due to him being twenty years older than her.
