First let me start off, since people have attacked me for it. If your poor grammar is due to translating directly from ASL then I do greatly apologize. You were the one though that said you type bad because of long nails, which I fail to understand. If you could please explain, I'm more than willing to listen. If the reason is because of ASL translation errors, then I am also surprised. I grew up with quite a few deaf friends and helped in a deaf class for a while, so I've never seen someone with complications on grammar due to that.

I don't want to discuss your anger since we're getting back on topic. I will just say that you should probably watch what you say from now on. A lot of your replies come off very combative and like you're flipping out on someone. It's happened in numerous threads, not just this one.

Back on topic. It WOULD take me a long time to re-download, but I guess I'm just not all that uptight about it. I don't have a VAST collection, just mainly kept my favorite series. It's not too much so I'm not worried haha.

I really WOULD like for my kids to be into Kamen Rider, because that will be fun to share. I really don't expect them to since they'll have their own things they will be into. To answer the original question, I'm keeping my Toku "collection" for myself. If my kids want to take a peek at it, I will be more than happy to show them

It's my understanding that even though people speak American Sign Language, they can still type full and correct sentences. If the sign language hinders that that I will by all means apologize. However it was Sentinel King himself who claimed his poor grammar was due to having long nails.

If this was in real life the speech wouldn't matter since I can speak a bit of ASL. However the posts really aren't all that readable to me since it's difficult to make out a lot of times what he's really even meaning, which for him is important.

I can understand if it is merely a break in ASL->English. However this would be the first time I've seen it happen after knowing many deaf people.

Even if it isn't ASL, he's displaying tendencies similar to somebody who learned English as a second language. He has a consistent set of rules when writing, so it probably is a different language. I just think ASL is more likely given the info we have.

Positive outlook on life is great, especially with a disability. Perhaps I'm just at my wit's end with Sentinel King after him constantly flipping out even when people as him a simple question. My cynicism doesn't come from his positive outlook (which is great and everyone needs one), it comes from frustration of his inability to have discussions with people without flipping out.

I get to my wit's end too, but remember, all you can do is share your ideas, hope they're receptive and leave it at that. Repeat as necessary. There's no point in getting worked up over people on the internet.

Consider this, since he believes he has perfectly functional English, maybe he perceives us as the ones who are barely understandable.

Anyway, as I was saying earlier, don't take things so personally. A disagreement is just a disagreement. If you get worked up over it, then the trolls win.
