Are we becoming "Christmas World"?

If you ever saw Go-onger 43 and 44, they show a world where the Holidays don't end. I begining to think we are ever so slowly moving forward to being exatcly that. It was still two days before Halloween, and the Target I was in was in the process of asembling thier christmas tree sale displays. 106.7FM-WLTW NY went to 24/7 christmas music a week ago last tuesday, about the same time Sirus-XM started thier stations. Retailers were even able to push the start of "Black Friday" to the late evening yesterday, and some weren't even closed yesterday!

I'm 21; I'm beginging to get worried that by the time I'm a grandfather, I'll be buying my tree in late august and Santa will be at the end of the Labor day parades!

Part of the reason they're starting some of the holiday stuff earlier is partly due to the economy still struggling. Companies are starting their holiday sale specials EARLIER IN THE 4TH ECONOMIC QUARTER in order to avoid getting killed by the expenditures they made throughout the year that was done to prevent being affected by the Recession.

It'll be like this way for another few years until the economy is back on it's feet again

In the Philippines, it starts by, i guess, late September and ends by 1st week of January. as they say, Only in the Philippines.

I guess my country became Christmas World every year on that timeline.

I'm not complaining. It gives me something big to look forward to while I'm sitting in class, ready to fall asleep at any moment.
