Are Kiva's riders & fangire screwy?

The only knight though not part of the Checkmate Four in Kiva is IXA.

I'm cool with the fangires feeding life energy. But it would be nice for a person to be transformed into a fangire when bitten. Who knows, the Checkmate Four would do that.

Too bad the Checkmates didn't have a Knight. If the King was still alive, he'd be in a hibernating coffin trying to regain his strength since his last fight with Otoya.

Otoya would've been the only one worthy of being Dark Kiva instead of King.

Saga didn't have a bike except in human form. Taiga could've at least transformed his bike with the Jacorder into rider form called "Machine Oruboros" with the oruboros sign on top of his front bike.

Technically Machine Kiba is his bike, as it belongs to the King and Saga bears the King's mark. Though how Taiga never recognized it when he and Wataru were riding together (before becoming enemies) is beyond me.

Rey & Arc are okay.

They could have expanded more on who 3WA was and Rey being an "artificial Kiva". Rey's defection in the movie made no sense and came out of nowhere; it could have been explained as a result of a human turning into a human-Fangire hybrid, but alas nothing. As for Arc, why even call him a Rider?

Fangires:
Fangires could've at least acted like real vampires. Victims that are bitten would've transformed into Pawns as grunts.

I think the regular Fangires would count as Pawns. I'd get rid of the Classes myself, as they served no purpose. Nothing differentiated Beasts, Insects, Aquas and Lizards from each other, not like the Yummies for example.

Checkmate Four. They could've added a Knight.

Saga could have been the Knight, either like the other Checkmates or given to the child of the King and Queen who did not inherit Kiva.

Did you watch the Director's Cut? That's basically what they did, but with Legnedorga rather than Fangire. The Rey system was unusable by humans, and his user sacrificed his humanity to gain the power to use it. That's why he joined the Legendorga.

I didn't actually. I intended to a while back but forgot about it until just now. And now I remember why I redownloaded TV-N's Kiva torrents.

That's basically what they did, but with Legnedorga rather than Fangire. The Rey system was unusable by humans, and his user sacrificed his humanity to gain the power to use it. That's why he joined the Legendorga.

So he decided that since he was already part Legendorga he might as well side with them? Hmm.

I really ought to watch the Director's Cut and Cut Scenes but I'm backlogged on toku as it is. I still have the rest of Garo post-Beast of the White Night to get through.

It would've better for Fangires to act like "real" vampires for once. There were reptiles, beasts, aqua & insect. Why not birds like... crows/ravens.

As Kiva is... horror-based. Vampires, werewolves/lycans, merpeople, frankenstein's creature, mummies, ghouls/ghosts, reapers, zombies, witches, demons & angels, etc.

Mummy shouldn't be a legendorga. It should've given Kiva an extra form to fight the Legendorga.

Riders:
Kiva had only four forms + Emperor. They could've at least added some monsters from Darkstalkers.

Why? As already said, his forms were already underused. Adding more forms is just giving him useless junk.

The names of the weapons & monsters "Garulu" "Basshaa" "Dogga" "Buroon" "Tatsulot. Are hard names to figure out.

How are those hard?

IXA had too many users.

Why is that wrong? The belt didn't need anything special to activate, so...?
