[Comic] Archie Comics just broke my brain

Now let me state this right out I don't really care about Archie and his friends. Why I do applaud all the chances they have been taking in the last few years, which actually makes them one of the most dynamic publishers, I still don't care. So why I am I bringing up Archie at all? Because for the first time in years a single comic page has left me dumbfounded beyond all measure.

Time for back story. Archie Comics decided to produced their first "mature" Archie last month "Afterlife with Archie", a play on their "Life with Archie" title. The book more or less is about a zombie outbreak consuming Riverdale, the standard gore follows. I am fine with that, not my thing but whatever. So I didn't give it much thought until today. I was at Scans_Daily and a preview for the second issue was posted. I was surprised since I thought it was just a one-shot. My curiosity got the better of me and I got this...

Now I may just be a pervert but holy ****. This is an official Archie title published by Archie Comics proper involving regular Archie characters. I understand they want to have Archie lose his squeeky-clean luster but baby steps people. This is the same set of characters that was licensed by Spire Christian Comics and now it seems more like something that would be in Cherry. I know I said I would never talk about Archie, but this just got me.
