LOL......... I found this thread funny as hell.

First, off I like Hibiki I think it was a good series and it could have been better had they not change writers half way through the damn series! I like the fact instead of a the whole show being about one person or a huge fight it focus on a master slash student relationship and choices that one person must make in order to became the person they are suppose to be in life.

Hibiki earns it spot as a Kamen Rider!

I would say my top 5 Kamen Rider are

1. Agito

2. Hibiki

3.Den-o

4.Kabuto

5. Faiz

All those series have something about them that I like, however, I know that Hibiki is not for everyone so just deal with it.

Hibiki's the only Kamen Rider series I have seen all the way through.

I liked Den-O but stopped watching months ago. I caught up with GekiRanger, I should try to get back up to speed with Den-O, too.

Oh, can it. You and your four whole episodes of Hibiki knowledge really don't qualify you to say that.

But the thing I don't get it why is it a kamen rider. It clearly doesn't fit the mold of the franchise

What molds would those be? Drop the fact that they said "henshin" and there really are no molds of modern day Rider shows. Hibki had a bike, in fact I think he rode it more often than Kabuto's secondary Riders. Really, if you're going by "molds" of the franchise, nothing but Kabuto deserves to be called Kamen Rider since that's the only one that has bikes, henshin and actual Rider Kicks. But I've always thought that the molds thing was total BS. In its original form, Hibiki wasn't a Kamen Rider series, but that idea was quickly scrapped, so you can kinda say that it was and wasn't a Kamen Rider series from the start. Though I would have loved it having its own spin off franchise.

I enjoyed Hibiki more than any other of the Rider series' I've seen. I liked how as opposed to the other Riders of the past, he wasn't new to what he did. He was a seasoned man who knew where and what he was doing. His judgment wasn't clouded my inexperienced righteousnesses, he wasn't an arrogant prick (there's lookin at you, Kabuto). There need to be more Riders like Hibiki.
