FF15 Anyone excited for the PC port ?

Final Fantasy XV (2016): Prince Noctis and his friends embark on a road trip that becomes a battle to reclaim his kingdom. It blends open-world exploration with real-time action combat. AKA Final Fantasy 15, FF15, FFXV
It looks like Final Fantasy 15 will look great on a PC, when it comes out, and they also say that this game struggles on the gaming console level a lot, so this should be quite a improvement. I think this game will have more enhanced shadows, higher textures and more detail to the monsters as well. It's something to look forward to, and does look great on PC !

I don't plan on buying it but I am excited that it's coming to PC. Because I like the fact that developers are starting to give PC love. And I have to believe its because the new consoles are so much like a PC that it makes for an easy port for PC.

P.S. I am really looking forward to seeing what other games the developers plan to port to PC. :)

I wouldn't say it struggles ( at least on the PS 4 ), but I mentioned in another thread that the graphics aren't on par with what we were shown in some earlier trailers, and there are some minor pop-in issues but otherwise it seems to run well most of the time - again that's for PS4, since I don't own an XboX I have no idea how it runs on that.
I would say that the higher resolution textures for the PC port are a necessary improvement since they are quite blurry on consoles, (at least the environmental ones), and it also seems to have better lighting quality.

I am just hoping that the game port in the PC is fully optimized for a maximum fun experience. I also think that I need to upgrade graphics card to fully enjoy this upcoming game :)

Well, we all hope it's going to be well optimized, but I'm going to tell you right now that the Nvidia Gameworks features won't be.
In every game I played so far that had these included, they absolutely destroyed performance on anything but the best hardware. Thankfully I can do without stuff like Hairworks, Face works and such which destroy performance without giving much in return.
What is your current graphics card, BTW ?

My current graphics card is r9 390x and planning to upgrade to GTX 1080ti for maximum performance. Well, I am still hopeful that Square-Enix can pull up a massive comeback for FF15 PC port. Well, we can just wait until the port is released and review it ourselves.

Wow, that is a space heater, right ? Good performance though and a good amount of VRAM still.
Are you playing games on 1080p or lower ? If so, I don't see a reason to upgrade to a 1080ti (unless you want to reduce your electric bill, but I believe it wouldn't be a big reduction), but hey it's your money.

I am currently playing in 1080p resolution, but planning to buy an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor next year, so I think 1080ti is a good buy or I will wait for Volta GPU of Nvidia. I do hope that the PC port supports 21:9.

If I knowed it a bit earlier... i buyed a PS4 just before the info released that they give a PC version in early 2018.

I hope (but don't believe on it) that somehow i could transfer my game progress from PS4 account to the pc version. If not, i don't buy it i think.
If it's possible, i would prefer to play on pc.
Not only because the graphic will look a way better (have no ps4 pro). Because i love to have more control on PC. Screebshots in high quality, videos too, all the stuff around.

What really makes me nosey is the pic with cerberus of the PC version. I'm interested if there will be a special pc exclusive content. What do you think?

Well in that case buying a 1080ti might be a good idea. Or, like you said you can wait for Volta but that might be up to a year away still. In any case, 390x should still run all games decently, so you can just wait for a good deal on anything you might want to buy.

BTW, ultrawide support in games is not that good, I think many games don't support it actually, especially older ones. I would opt for a 16:9 monitor instead
