FF15 Anyone excited for the PC port ?

Final Fantasy XV (2016): Prince Noctis and his friends embark on a road trip that becomes a battle to reclaim his kingdom. It blends open-world exploration with real-time action combat. AKA Final Fantasy 15, FF15, FFXV
Of course I meant any friends with some IT knowledge
Anyway, it should still be cheaper to buy the components and then have someone upgrade/assemble the PC for you.
Yeah, that's true, that's what I might do. Do you have any recommendations for a gaming laptop? Honestly something that can support games such as CS:GO and Final Fantasy ;)

I wouldn't say it's hard ( and there are million guides everywhere on how to do it ), but if you're not careful you can cause hardware damage pretty easily. There are people who can do it for you, but I have no idea how much it would cost since I do these things by myself. Any friends who could this for you ?
In my region, we easily get professional help from stores dealing with computers and laptops. These shops hire professionals that have a good knowledge of all processing systems. I think you shall check with such retailers.

I don't really game on laptops so you're going to have to ask for advice on that elsewhere. Proper gaming laptops are very expensive, and tend to have a short life so I don't bother.

Oh yeah? Might invest in a PC then, I had a decent gaming PC, however, it's not the best anymore and I just tend to use my laptop instead. Thanks for the advice anyway!

You're welcome !
There are three big problems with gaming laptops, and those are
- short battery life
- overpriced, compared to desktop Pc's
- overheating
As you can imagine, the last one is the worst as it can pretty much destroy many hardware components, and powerful graphics cards used in gaming laptops output much heat.

I'm glad that it's coming to PC, to be honest it's just not worth it to try and keep up with consoles anymore financially. I need to upgrade my rig anyhow so this is another reason why I should haha. I never play games on laptops but desktops are a different story though.

Yeah. I've had problems with my laptops overheating in the past which really sucks to be honest. And the price is really high, I mean. My current computer costs $1500 (got it today actually ;)) and a laptop with these specs would cost like $2500+.

Yep, you have to pay good money for portability. But I don't travel much, and even if I did I'd rather game on a smartphone or a portable console.

Oh really, you're a fan of smartphones/portable consoles? I don't like it a lot though, what smartphone do you use for gaming?

I don't game on smartphones, but I do have an old PSP that still works. Yeah, gaming on these devices can be uncomfortable but they are much lighter than a laptop which can be a PITA to lug around if you don't really need it.
