What's actually bothering me, was why Maverick had to kill the parents and not just altered their memories?! :shakefist

Maybe his powers was still not present during those times...

Huh? He actually used it on Barnaby on that very day it seems. Unless he kept Barnaby for years until his powers awoken.

Well, we can't really say that the events after the incident is arnaby's "real" memory. He might have gone into an orphanage. And when Maverick's power woken up, he thought of using barnaby by altering most of his childhood memories.

Maverick wanted to turn Barnaby into a great hero. The whole "Ever since I saw your powers..." speech. So he killed Barnaby's parents, fucked up his memories, and thus Barnaby was born.

Hmmm... True... I guess he can never convince Barnaby to be a hero if he didn't have the proper motivation, thus needing his parents to die.

Looking at it though, it seems everything just went well for Maverick on that day since killing the parents is the only way to make Barnaby a top hero and he had the motive since they were about to reveal his connections with Ouroboros.

And their technology was helping to boost the ratings of Hero TV. Maverick is a mastermind.

****, I could listen to this all day...

MV's kinda creepy to some though. :sweat:

Barnaby = Bruce Wayne

Bunny =/= Batman

:laugh:

But good to know that Nexts was saw as freak by normal people at first. I was thinking that Sternbild people is so considerate accepting 'mutant' in their life it doesn't make sense:sweat:

And though what Maverick did was unforgivable, but he helped make the world see Next better, even as their heroes (and celebrities) and there are academy to make Next learn their power and how to be a hero.

Same as you, I'm thinking Barnaby will indeed confront Kaede to reveal Kotetsu's real job.

Bunny heard his dream after all, to make her daughter proud of her. So as his partner is his job to help Kotetsu's dream came true

But currently the scene I imagine when Barnaby went to Kaburagi house to meet Kaede:
Barnaby: So, you're Koutetsu-san's daughter, Kaede?
Kaede: OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGIT'SBARNABYOMGOMGOMGOMG!
Barnaby: Listen, the truth is your father actually is my partner Wild Tiger. We had to take care huge conspiracy regarding my past and Hero TV so that's why Koutetsu-san couldn't retire so soon back then. Actually, even though he looks like that, deep inside Koutetsu-san is...
Kaede: Yeah yeah I know, he is a true hero, the best father ever, whatever. Now can you sign my collections? Can I take photo with you? Do you want to go see this area, I can show you around! Oh wait, I have to tweet this first, my friends will be jealous!
