Angelina Jolie to play Catwoman???

No one has picked her to play Catwoman in the new movie nor has it been released that Catwoman is to be in the new flim. I actually read another article stating similar things, that Julie Newmar thinks she would own the role and has given her blessing for her to portray Catwoman and that that Jolie herself has made inquiries about the role and would love to play Catwoman if it were to become available.

I do however think she would be the perfect choice for such a role and the would be retarded not to cast her, I mean seriously, with such a powerhouse film why not add a powerhouse actress to the roster and boost profits even higher?

She could probably pull off a good Catwoman no doubt. Though, I think Scarlett Johansson would be better, since she has more of that look.

Eh, I don't know. Scarlett Johansson is definitely a quality actress, but I can't recall her in any role that's even mildly athletic. She's in fairly good shape, but has zero muscle definition. I think that Angelina Jolie would be a lot more believable in an action role.

Wait...so you mean to tell me that they didn't actually resurrect Truman Capote himself, as I was led to believe, but it was instead this "Philip Seymour Hoffman" fellow? No!

Heath was quite a popular, well known celeb, but that's clearly NOT why he was cast to play the Joker.

But Heath wasn't exactly a "marquee name." He was known, had a following, had critical buzz when he was cast, but he wasn't exactly a megastar like Johnny Depp or Angelina Jolie -- he was still rising in Hollywood ranks. Depp and Jolie's names being tossed around just reminds me of when Schumacher was running things: looking for star wattage rather than who might be appropriate for the role. "Hey, Poison Ivy's a redhead, let's ask Julia Roberts!"

Anybody remember the collective "Huh?" when Ledger was announced as Joker? And now...well, you should know how it is.

There isnt even a script done yet people (at least to my knowledge) for all we know its going to be Batman VS The Mad March Hare or Mr. Rictus for crying out loud.

Lets just leave speculation to just that right now.

I just think Jolie is being overused right now, I'd have a hard time seeing her as anyone other than Angelina Jolie.

I think Rose Mcgowan could pull it off, and probably numerous other actresses.

As long as it's not Halle Berry.
