Angelina Jolie Sin City 2 bound?

It seems that a highly-anticipated sequel might be moving forward in the near future and there is some possible casting news as well. Moviehole is reporting that Angelina Jolie has been "in serious talks" for a role in Robert Rodriguez's Sin City 2.

The site is reporting that Jolie is in talks to play the female lead of Ava, who appears in the Frank Miller graphic novel "A Dame to Kill For." It was said that Jolie had talked to Rodriguez about the role as early as 2006, but now it seems that the film is finally gaining momentun and the "filmmakers are trying to get Jolie to officially commit to playing the female lead."

She's beautiful, in a classy, elegant way...but I bet she wouldn't mind getting all dirtied up. She's a great actress, and she doesn't slut it up like some actresses out there.

Rachel Weisz would've been an awesome Ava in the Sin City sequel. I could of really see it happening. She has the Fatal Femme look to her that would've really stood out.

Rachel Weisz just doesn't have any charisma. She's pretty, but stands out about as much as a mohawk at a Sex Pistols concert.

She's no goddess. And she especially doesn't have the right look or temperment to act in a film noir-inspired movie. Neither does Jolie, but then again they're not paying me to cast these pricks.

Plus she's forever on my shitlist for being in those dreadful Mummy movies.
