Shadow Moon was the big bad of All Riders....techincally. Because Decade wasn't being the big bad. Anyways.

So our two main heroes take him on....and get thrashed.

Cue Double, who effortlessly owns Shadow Moon into the side of a building.

The follow up Rider Kick wasn't even NEEDED. The guy couldn't do anything. He had lost.

That just...

That's now how you tell a story.

That's ANTI story telling.

From what I've heard, OOOs' cameo was done much better in the Double movie...

But wow. That Double cameo just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Especially since I like Double.

As you have pointed out, though, the problem with W's appearance in All Riders had nothing to do with W being a spotlighted new Rider. It had everything to do with the movie's storytelling being poor.

Even if W hadn't shown up to spank Shadow Moon, I'm sure Shadow Moon's defeat still would've been nonsensical and dissatisfying. That's just how the Decade movies were when it came to resolving climactic battles.

I imagine the OOO cameo in A to Z comes off better simply because that movie had a different creative team that was a bit more interested in making sure its stories were structured coherently.

W's team was really trying to make a good series.

It's pretty obvious that the whole Double scene was tacked on at some later point of production. The environmental conditions don't even match the other scenes in that location.

OOO's cameo probably was better handled because they already knew it would be there even in an earlier point of the movie's production and had more time to do it, with even OOO's actor available for the cameo, unlike Double's voice-only participation in All Riders.

All Riders' production was just too rushed in general. What other Rider movie's production was unable to finish a Rider suit? And there were obvious badly done scene cuts in several parts of the movie...

In any case, this supposed crossover movie certainly won't be the summer movie, so it'd be way too early to already feature the next Rider. I don't think you need to worry about that.

April will be awesome. Also I think they need to be abit more creative in their anniversary logo. Its just a white "40" with Ichigou on top -____-
