Aerosmith on the Hunt for New Singer

Had no idea any of this was going on.
If the band was young and/or just starting out it could have a chance, but considering how long they've been together and how established of a group they are...yeah I just can't see this working out. IMO, if they do get a new singer they're basically going to just be an Aerosmith cover band. Aerosmith without Steven Tyler is like INXS without Michael Hutchence or Van Halen after David Lee Roth first left.

Never said that it was wrong, but at the same time, to a lot of people it just didn't "seem right". The sound with Hagar was okay in and of itself, but vibe with Hagar was so different compared to Roth that it was like it was a completely different band that just happened to have the same name.

Because I love rock and roll, and I have a lot of sweet emotion for the genre. I acknowledge Aerosmith for their achievements, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I've never much cared for Steven Tyler, the dude looks like a lady and has a really shitty attitude towards a lot of things, and until he's back in the saddle I guess Aerosmith's shows will just be the same old song and dance. Besides, this is just a thread about Aerosmith, not an "I Love Aerosmith!" party, and seeing as I have an opinion about them, I have the right to make it known here. So if you think I'm just going to stay clammed up about something I have to say, dream on.
