What Am I made for?
“Celebrity Bear Hunt” is a Netflix Reality TV Survival Game Series, with 8 episodes, that will be released on February 5, 2025. ♦ In “Celebrity Bear Hunt“, a dozen celebrities take part in the ultimate game of cat and mouse with the legendary Bear Grylls. Bear Grylls is best known for his TV series “Man vs. Wild” where he demonstrates survival techniques in various extreme environments. His resume reflects that he is a former SAS (Special Air Service) trooper, a special forces unit of the British Army, similar to Green Berets (U.S. Army Special Forces), and SEAL Teams (U.S. Navy SEALs). So? He probably has honed survival skills. “Celebrity Bear Hunt” is a survival game where a dozen celebrities will not be permitted to use stunt-men or stunt-women to do the dangerous physical stuff and they won’t have their on private dressing rooms with flowers and candy delivered every day. They have to eat, sleep, and live together, learn survival skills, and compete in challenges. But the most intense challenge involves being hunted down by Bear Grylls. If a celebrity gets caught by Bear, they will be eliminated. Who’s gonna win? Will anybody win? (O.o) Let’s be real. Special Forces […]

Seeing celebrities out of their comfort zone, especially in the jungle, is going to be so fun. Mel B in survival mode? I can't wait to see how she handles Bear Grylls. It's going to be interesting to see who can actually learn some survival skills and who just panics. I'm setting my alarm for February 5th!"

I love the concept of pitting celebrities against nature and Bear Grylls. It's a fresh twist on reality TV. I’m particularly interested in how someone like Boris Becker, with his athletic background, would strategize. This could be a masterclass in resilience and survival, not just entertainment

Honestly, when I saw the lineup for 'Celebrity Bear Hunt,' my first thought was, 'Who are these people again?' It's like they've pulled out has-beens and D-listers from the bottom of the celebrity barrel. Mel B? She was big back in the '90s, but since then? Not so much. And Boris Becker, sure, he was a tennis legend, but that was ages ago. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, do people even remember him outside of 'Changing Rooms'?

Then you've got Steph McGovern, who's been around but never really hit A-list status. Danny Cipriani’s more known for his rugby days than anything recent. Shirley Ballas, while she's a big deal in the dance world, doesn't really move the needle outside of that. Big Zuu, Una Healy, Joe Thomas - they all had their moments, but they're not exactly household names anymore. Lottie Moss? She's only famous because of her sister, Kate. Kola Bokinni and Leomie Anderson? They're more like 'who?' unless you're deep into niche TV shows or the UK fashion scene.

This show feels like a desperate attempt to drum up interest by throwing a bunch of semi-famous faces into the jungle. It's not about showcasing survival skills; it's about giving a second wind to careers that have seen better days. I mean, if this is the best they could do for celebrity appeal, it says a lot about how far down the list they had to go. Maybe it'll be entertaining, but let's call it what it is - a parade of has-beens and D-listers looking for another 15 minutes of fame.

Finally, something different from the usual dating and talent shows! I'm curious to see how celebrities like Una Healy or Joe Thomas handle survival. It's going to be a mix of comedy, drama, and maybe some real learning moments. I'm definitely setting up a watch party for this.

I'm baffled by 'Celebrity Bear Hunt's' cast compared to 'The Traitors US.' 'The Traitors' has stars like Tom Sandoval and Nikki Bella. But 'Bear Hunt'? It's mostly has-beens or niche celebrities. Mel B stands out, but the rest? Not so much. Maybe the jungle survival theme isn't as appealing, or 'The Traitors' just does a better job at attracting big names.

Well, it's no surprise 'The Traitors US' has a more star-studded cast when you compare the perks. I mean, those folks are living it up in a castle with catering and luxurious bedrooms. Who wouldn't want to sign up for that? Meanwhile, 'Celebrity Bear Hunt' has celebrities roughing it in the jungle, getting chased by Bear Grylls, with no fancy amenities in sight. It's like choosing between a five-star hotel and camping in the wilderness; the choice seems pretty clear to me.

This is going to be epic! I've watched all of Bear Grylls' shows growing up, and now with celebrities, it's going to be even more fun. Danny Cipriani in the jungle? That's something I didn't know I needed to see. I'm betting on him or maybe Big Zuu for the win, just because of their physical background. Can't miss it!

I'm totally excited for this! Shirley Ballas at 64 taking on this challenge is inspiring. I love these shows because they show another side of celebrities we don't usually see. It's not just about surviving but also about teamwork and personal growth. I'm rooting for her!
