Acting Actors VS In-suit Actors

Maybe you should get over your anti-Takaiwa boner.

Hey, I like Takaiwa. I think he's been great in every Rider role he's had, except for Blade. It's just not fair to dismiss the old guy simply because Takaiwa did more shows.

And poor, poor Jiro. He was being set up to be the real successor to Nakayashiki, and the franchise goes and dies on him.

I have to say that Shougo does raise a good point. As much as I love Takaiwa, we can't forget that he just pretty much symbolizes Heisei Riders since that's the job he's been doing (Since he was originally a Sentai suit-actor right? And just started in BLACK RX as Riderman and ZO as Doras?). So calling him "Mister Kamen Rider" by Toei doesn't really cut it for me.

In all fairness to the points being raised I've got to say I'm not sure I see how having been 10 Riders in a row, damn near the entirety of the Heisei version of the franchise doesn't cut it for being the current "Mister Kamen Rider".

In other words, the use of that nickname is not automatically at the expense or disrespect of Tetsuya Nakayashiki or Jiro Okomoto.

Maybe think of it as a legacy hero thing like The Flash. Tetsuya Nakayashiki is Jay Garrick, Jiro Okomoto is Barry Allen, and Takaiwa is Wally West.
